Employee and Family Assistance Program New Numbers New Look! Over the past several months, we have been reviewing our Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) and are pleased to announce some program changes and enhancements to our service. Effective July 1, 2011, we have decided to continue our relationship with Shepell·fgi to provide their professional counselling and information services for all of our employees and their immediate family members. Confidential counselling and work/life services are available, at no cost, to each employee or eligible family member. Should specialized assistance be required, you’re Shepell·fgi counsellor or consultant will make an expert referral to appropriate professionals and agencies in the community. The fees for such referral services are the responsibility of the employee or family member. However, some of these services may be covered by your provincial health plan or your extended benefits plan. Your EFAP helps you achieve a healthy work-life balance so that you are equipped to cope with the issues of everyday life. The Shepell·fgi EFAP program includes:
