Beaver County’s Success Stories John Barger
Quaker Valley High School John Barger is a dedicated father from the Quaker Valley School District. John wanted desperately to join the Unites States Army, but couldn’t until he earned a high school diploma. He participated in Phase 4 Beaver’s Diploma Retrieval Program where he was able to complete all of the requirements to earn his diploma from Quaker Valley. John has since enlisted in the United States Army and is awaiting basic training.
LEARNING THAT TRANSFORMS LIVES
Cassie Casterline Freedom High School Cassie Casterline, a student at Phase 4 Beaver, was very behind in her academics. Determined to drop out, she never thought that she would graduate from high school. At Phase 4, she discovered her academic potential and thrived. She completed all of the required coursework for graduation and is now the proud recipient of a Freedom High School Diploma. She is currently attending the Community College of Butler County where she is studying Psychology.
PHASE 4 offers:
• One-on-one instructional support, mentoring, and counseling • Ten-to-one student to teacher ratio • Computer-assisted, PA Dept. of Educationaligned curriculum • Individualized, “differentiated” instruction • Strong community partnerships and stakeholder relationships • Outreach services for students and their families
