The graph shows the drastic reduction of acceleration peaks. the red line represents the accelerations (and therefore the strength) that interact on the baby's thorso, in case of a frontal accident at 50km/h, with a child car seat equipped with IAS system. The blue line represents the accelerationas and at the same time the impact conditions with the same child car seat without the IAS system. You can see that the IAS system makes a drastic reduction in the maximum values of acceleration (from 55g to 37g) and is therefor much safer for a child
