palace 1 st PHASE - 1613 - 1618 palace 2 nd PHASE - 1680 - 1690 Jan Adam from Lichtenštejn Karel Eusebius from Lichtenštejn castle - 2 nd half of 13. century

A theatre scene is the main subject in the project. Solution how to replace current inconvenient one was found in “vertical” auditorium. Mass of a new auditorium completes initial intention of original architects to create 4 wings of high palace around the old castle. The design takes inspiration in the tectonics and the rythm of the high palace. Whole courtyard can be now a theatrical scene with never-ending amount of possibilitis for scenography with connection of surrounding nature, old castle and palaces.

CONCEPT DESIGN PROPOSAL FOR THE FILM ADAPTATION OF ISAAC ASIMOV´S

THE END OF ETERNITY

95th CENTURY

Isaac Asimov’s The End of Eternity presents a unique architectural challenge. How do you design places that are located hundreds and thousands of centuries in the future? And how do you design them such that they appear hundreds and thousands of centuries apart from each other? And finally, how do you design a place that exists outside of space and time altogether?
