Saturday Today we enjoy a visit to Bath. The golden city of Bath has been welcoming visitors for over 2,000 years. Designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, Bath presents some of the finest architectural sights in Europe including the Royal Crescent, majestic Abbey and Georgian terraces. At the heart of the city next to Bath Abbey is the Roman Baths, which gives a fascinating insight into the bathing complex and great Roman Temple of Sulis Minerva.
Sunday Following breakfast, we travel home via Oxford, the City of Dreaming Spires. Steeped in a rich and fascinating history, Oxford is famous for its prestigious university and is home to 38 colleges where many notable scholars have emerged. Its charming scenery has been the inspiration for many including Lewis Carroll and JRR Tolkien. We depart later this afternoon to make our journey home.

One of the wonders of the world and the bestknown prehistoric monuments in Europe, Stonehenge has been transformed with a new visitor centre. Salisbury stands serenely amid a landscape that is quintessentially English. Home to the finest of only four surviving 1215 Magna Carta, Salisbury Cathedral is one of Britain’s most iconic heritage and tourist attractions.
