Monday We depart for the port of Holyhead and our crossing to Dublin. On arrival in Dublin, we continue to our journey north and into Belfast for two nights, dinner, bed & breakfast at the Park Avenue Hotel. Tuesday Today we enjoy a guided tour of Belfast with included entrance to the Titanic Story. Belfast is a vibrant, modern city with a fascinating past. Get your bearings with a guided tour through its four ‘Quarters’ taking in historic landmarks including City Hall and Queens University. Later this afternoon we include entrance to Titanic Belfast. Titanic Belfast is an unmissable visit in any tour of Northern Ireland. It is located in the heart of Belfast, on the slipways where RMS Titanic was built. Inside the iconic building, you will re-live the entire Titanic story from her birth in Belfast to the fateful maiden voyage and her eventual discovery on the seabed. Wednesday We leave Belfast behind and travel along the breathtaking Antrim Coast to the world famous Giants Causeway. No tour to Northern Ireland would be complete without a visit to the Giant’s Causeway, a World Heritage site steeped in myth and legend. The Giant’s Causeway, located along the stunning North Antrim Coast, is an area of approximately 40,000 columns, the result of ancient volcanic activity 60 million years ago. Legend tells the story of how the giant Finn McCool created the Causeway as a challenge to his Scottish rival Benandonner. As well as being Northern Ireland’s only World Heritage Site, the Giant’s Causeway is also a National Nature Reserve and lies within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Our scenic journey will continue to County Donegal and the town of Donegal for two night’s dinner, bed & breakfast at the Central Hotel.

Thursday Today we travel along the edge of Donegal Bay to the Folk Village at Glencolmcille. Perched on a hillside overlooking a sandy curve of nearby Glenbay beach, the village is a cluster of small cottages, called a “clachan” with each cottage recreating a different era of Irish history, from the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries. Later this afternoon we visit the Slieve League Peninsula, said to be one of the highest and finest marine cliffs in Europe. To fully enjoy the spectacle of the cliffs, we leave our coach behind and board a mini-bus which will take us to the viewing point, to see the incredible sea cliffs reaching 2000ft above the Atlantic – a truly wonderful sight. Friday We depart Donegal and begin our journey south and visit Sligo. Steeped in history and mythology, the county expresses itself in the music, art, and poetry of its people, made so famous by WB Yeats and others. We will continue into County Mayo and visit the Marian Shrine of Knock. Our scenic journey will continue to County Clare and the town of Ennistymon, located on the River Cullenagh for two night’s dinner, bed & breakfast at the Falls Hotel. Saturday Following breakfast, we travel to The Burren Visitor Centre, where the natural history of this enchanting region is revealed. We drive through the park to discover prehistoric limestone landscapes sheltering rare species of flora and fauna. Later this afternoon we travel to the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Centre. The Cliffs of Moher are Ireland’s most visited natural attraction with a magical vista that captures the hearts of up to one million visitors every year. Standing 214 meters at their highest point they stretch for 5 miles along the Atlantic coast of County Clare in the west of Ireland.
