The Spirit of the Lord is upon me...to grant those who mourn in Zion, giving them garland instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of a spirit fainting. So they will be called Oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may ee glorified. (Isaiah 61:1,3)
How you could help Pray for us, harvesters and the people
Ministry at Carolina Village What is going on? Jesus told us to love our neighbors as ourselves. Different times I have heard people use this as an excuse not to go to the nations. Unfortunately those who are called to the nations could get wrapped up in preparing to go to the nations and overlook their neighbors. In Concord has many mobile home parks with residents who are desperately in need of somebody to minister to them in the Spirit of the Lord. A group of us, graduates and students of FIRE School of Ministry, are compelled by the Lord to minister to these
people. We do not just want to get them saved. We want to see them healed, delivered, discipled and become beacons of hope in their community, leading others to Christ and raise them up for the work of ministry. Among them we have purposed to be imitators of Christ. So, we are not just evangelizing, but also setting up projects to provide in needs in ‘earthly’ areas of life: social, physical and financial. We hope that this will affect them to let Jesus transform their whole lives.
ing funds to finance: repairs for their homes, groceries, help those who are in danger of getting evicted and other practical needs. At the same time we want to draw out their skills and teach them principles that would help sustain their lives.
Minister with us Donate finances, resources, furniture, not out of obligation, but out of joy. Give thanks that God is working through us
When we go out in the neighborhood we build relationships, find out what needs they have, find out where they are with Christ and work from there.
Practically this means raisBuilding relationships through sports
Healing For Roella ministering to these people started at least two years ago. So, she has been building relationships for some time now. Lately, she has been seeing the fruit. Three people she has been relating to were not only saved, but also baptized at FIRE Church. For the sake of confidentiality of these people we will not use their real names. One of them, John was not really open to the gospel for a long time until God healed his back. Than he decided to surrender to the Lord and He was filled with the Holy Spirit. Unfortunately he has not yet continued to live on with
Christ based on his decision. We also met Tori who had throat cancer and received chemo therapy. She went for a random check-up and found out that she was healed. She still has problems with eating, but is regaining strength every day. She says she could feel the effect of our prayers.

Practical help Not so long ago a new manager is taking care of the trailer park. He expected everybody to fix up their trailers, if not they would be evicted. So, Rusty and his father helped repair the vinyl sidings underneath a family’s trailer. They were very grateful for the help. In building relationships, being evidently present and available is most effective to
people. Roella’s faithful presence is paying of. A couple of weeks ago a couple of young girls called out her name. She did not remember having talked to them, which she may have done. The point is that people get to know us and want to build relationships. We played basketball with them and got to know them a little bit better.
Work on a trailer owned by people we regularly visit.
“There is so much more the Lord wants to do and so many more people to reach. He chose you and me to be like Him to those in need.”
Projects Until now we have only been scratching the surface. There is so much more the Lord wants to do and so many more people to reach. He chose you and me to be like Him to those in need. First of all we are seeking for a man or woman of peace (Luke 10:6). God has predestined everybody to enlarge the Church. With Him we have to look for somebody who we could teach, so that they would
know and walk with the Lord, but who is also able to teach others (2 Timothy 2:2).
aimed to the Spanish speaking people in this community. We desire to have other students involved. But we also want to Secondly, we are setting up work together with fund-raisers. With this churches who reach out to money we could provide the Spanish speaking peowhatever needs people ple. have, like repairing and cleaning houses. We are intending to have a bake sale and let people crack eggs on our heads for money. Thirdly, we want to do a healing event, specifically
