Oct. 1, 2013 8:34am University of Houston- Downtown (Academic Buliding) I was on my to class and after all the times i have pass through here, I have never notice the sign. The letters are all captial letters and they look Helvetica Sans Serif. The spaces of the letters is real narrow for the area it is in.
Aug. 29, 2013 12:43 pm Houston City Hall I was on a tour at the Houston city hall for school and the the tour guide had show us this quote. The letters are all capital and have a real narrow space bewteen each one. The style of the letters look like a 1950s style form of letters.
Oct. 3, 2013 2:50 pm A bike trail near University of Houston- Downtown Two of my friends and i were running along this bike trial during school and we came across this word on the trail. The letters are all capital and the word looks to be made by hand. The person whoever did this want this word to stand out for its perfect shapes in the letters. This is a unique way to show letters in this form.
Oct. 1, 2013 9:50 am University of Houston- Downtown (Academic Buliding) I was leaving my class and after all the times i have pass through here also, I have never notice the sign too on the wall. Its the name of the name of the libaray at the University. All the letters are captial and have narrow space bewteen each letter. These are Sans Serif letters, maybe Helvetica but each letter are the same size and lined up in the same way.
Sep. 25, 2013 12:15 pm Midtown Houston I was on my way to go eat with some friends from school in midtown. While we were walking to the place, we passed by this window and i saw these words on the window. The top words are unique because they have the form of script letters with the curves in the letters. Then the bottom words are all lower case letters with little space bewteen each one.
Sep. 30, 2013 12:56 pm Downtown Houston I was walking back to school coming my job and i saw this sign. The sign seem interesting because I havenâ€™t seen a sign like this before. The letters of the sign are all captials but the weird thing about it is that the middle E is facing the opposite way and i found interesting. And also the V is bigger then all the other letters which was also interesting. The letters look like they are a type of Serif but not really sure.
Oct. 7, 2013 12:34 pm Discovery Green I was leaving from work from picking up my paycheck and i stop by this small cafe and got something to eat. While I was sitting outside waiting for my food i saw the sign of the cafe. The letters of the word â€œtheâ€? were in a small font size then the other words. The words Lake House are the biggest words and kind of have a bold style to them. And the bottom words seem to be in small caps with a Serif style form.
Oct. 7, 2013 12:28 pm Discovery Green When i was walking out from the underground garage at Discovery Green, i saw this sign in the middle of the walk way. it seem interesting cause all the letters in this sign were all capital but were in like a box form of text. The letters had the same size expect for the letters on the top which were a different size. The letters look like Arial style font with Sans Serif.
Sep. 14, 2013 12:43 pm Discovery Green I was leaving from work that day and i was waitng for the light. While i was waiting for the walk way sign to change, i notice that the information sign on the pole looked interesting. The letters for each words on the sign were the same. The style of the font looked like a Arial font with the same font size.
Sep. 14, 2013 8:34am Park Place- Downtown Houston I was waiting for the bus to go home, i was looking up at the buildings and i notice this this sign in the window. It seem interesting cause the letters were big in size in the window. The thing that i notice was that the P was in the middle of the word and had the ampersand in the middle also. The letters were all captials and were divided by two different colors. The letters looked like Helvetica font also.
Oct. 9, 2013 8:40 am Study Room- University of Houston- Downtown I was studying with some friends and we were eating ice-cream. And i was looking at the icecream cup for some reason and I notice that the design looked like a New Times Roman font and a Arial font also. The top letters are all captails in New Times Roman font with a samll space in bewteen the letters. And the bottom letters seem to be in Arial font with kind of a bold looking form to it.
Sep. 23 2013 1:12 pm Midtown Houston Me and some friends from school went out to eat and while we were passing by, we all looked up and saw these sign. The letters are all captials and have a little more space between each letter then some other words iâ€™ve seen. The letters look either Arial or Helvetica. And also the red in the background of the top letters make them pop out with the brightest of the red color.
Oct. 9, 2013 9:05 am Study Room- University of Houston- Downtown I was studying with some friends and we were taking pictures of things in the room. And i was looking at my drink and I notice that the design looked like a New Times Roman font and a Arial font also just like on the ice-cream cup. The top letters are all captails in New Times Roman font with a samll space in bewteen the letters and the black figure ground makes the letters stand out . And the bottom letters seem to be in Arial font with a kind of a bold looking form to it with the yellow figure ground.
Sep. 6, 2013 2:30 pm Memorial City Mall Me and friends were walking around the mall and we had stop here. We were looking at the sign cause it had a unique looked. The letters on top are upper and lower case with the descender coming down from them. The letters on the top are also Serif that have a curving look to them. The bottom letters are all captials with few space between them. the C and the Y are the only two letters that have descenders.
Sep. 15, 2013 10:32 am Downtown Houston Light Rail Me and my nephews were on the train this day and the sign of the station came up on the screen. The letters on the screen on all uppen case. Even made with a computer, the letters are Helvetica in a transitional sans serif type. The space between the letters is reall narrow to fit the screen.
Oct. 2, 2013 4:53 pm Downtown Houston I was sitting down at work and i notice the sign that were use for the parking lot had all upper case letters. the letters looked like the monster font that they used in the old days to get people attention. The type of the letters to me seem like Helvetica Sans Serif. The space between the F and U is alot more then all of the other letters. And i also notcied that the O looks like a zero in the way it is formed here.
Oct. 11, 2013 1:12 pm Museum District Houston Me and my nephew were walking aroung the museum district and we stop at this sign for directions. Then I noticed that the font of the top letters were different. The first and last words were all upper case thin and the middle word was all lower case with a bold type to it. And the rest of the letters on the bottom of the sign were all the same Helvetica transitional Sans Serif.
Oct. 11, 2013 11:15 am Muesum of Fine Arts Houston Me and my nephew went to the fine arts muesum and as we were walking, my nephew notice the words on the side of the building. The letters are lower and upper case with alot and little spacing into between each letter. The letters look like a Geometric San Serif type because of the perfect form of the O and the triangle look form the of the A.
Oct.4 ,2013 1:10 pm Near Herman Park Me and my girlfriend were walking around near Herman park and we came to this plaza this sit down. and we were taking pictures by this fountain and my girlfriend noticed that there were words carved in the fountain. The letters were hard to see but the letters look like a Geometric Sans Serif expect for the W looks like a another type of form.
Oct. 11, 2013 11:25 am Muesum of Fine Arts Houston As me and my nephew were walking to the entrance of the museum, my nephew noticed the name of the muesum and said they looked cool. The letters look like that are itanicze expect the H in the front. The aberration in the first four letters in the beginning are all upper case letters and the rest of the letters are lower and upper case. The letters seem to have a Humanist type just like in New Times Roman with Serif.
Oct. 11, 2013 1:30 pm Houston Museum of Natural Science So me and my nephew were crossing the street heading to the science museum, I notice the sign of the science musem in the grass. The letters on the sign were upper case expect for the word â€œofâ€?. The letters look like a Moden type form with Sans Serif and with little space between the letters.
Oct. 11, 2013 3:13 pm Near Herman Park As me and nephew were walking to the Light Rail station to go home, my nephew noticed the birds on the building which got me to notice the letters under it. The letters were all upper case with a Modern type to them with Serif. The thing that I found interesting was how the Wsâ€™ looked like two Vâ€™s combined. The space between each letter were narrow and the frist letter of each word were bigger then the other letters.
Sep. 26, 2013 10:34 am University of Houston- Downtown I was in the library with some friends and i was eating this sweet bread. As i was throwing the package away i notice the letters on the front. They looked interesting cause they were blue with like a curving shape to them. To me, it looked like the monster font with the curves and bright color it used. I didnt really know what type of font this was but i knew it was Sans Serif.
Oct. 13, 2013 1:15 pm My sister house in North Houston I was sitting outside with my little niece and we were eating candy. And we were looking at the box for some reason and saw that the letters on the box were like a oval shape kind of. The letters were in a bright yellow color that made them stand out. They look like the monster font with the weird shape that they form in the letters and the way each letter is connected together in the word Reeseâ€™s.
Oct.14, 2013 11:34am Wells Fergo Bank -Downtown Houston I was on my way to the bank in downtown and the letters on this wall caught my eye. The letters are carved into the wall which I found interesting cause of the way they were form. The letters look like Helvetica transitional sans serif. The way that the letters were form look perfect and smooth. All the letters are upper case with a narrow space between each other but a big space between each word.
Oct. 2, 2013 12:15 pm Jasonâ€™s Deli- Downtown Houston Me and my girlfriend and some of her friends went to go eat at Jasonâ€™s Deli and when we were going inside I was looking up at the sky to see if it was going to rain and notice the sign. The sign looked inertesting to me cause of the E was out of place and it wasnt straight. And also that the letters look like the Egyptian or Slam Serif type cause of the bold typeface it had.
Oct. 4, 2013 4:15 pm Molly’s Pub Downtown Houston Me and my friends went out for some drinks after we got out from work. And as the bartender was handing my drink to me i notice the letters on the glass. All the letters were upper case with little space between them. The letters looked like Helvetica expect for the the N’s which they looked like another type of font. Also the I and the Ns’ have a ascender on them and the other letters dont.
Oct. 13, 2013 3:02 pm Whataburger North Houston Me and nephews were eating at Whataburger and we were waiting for our food. While we were waiting, my nephew had pointed out to me that the letters looked like a graffiti type of form. The letters to me look like a monster font with the oval shape form or like in way for little kids. And the numbers look like a Modern type form in the shape they are.
Oct. 14, 2013 8:50am University of Houston- Downtown I was sitting in class looking through my textbook and started to look at the cover. The letters on the cover look like Arial with a wide amount of space between each letter. The letters are thin and look plain and simple with the light blue background.
Sep. 28, 2013 2:36 pm Geona Cemetery My sisters and I went to visit our dadâ€™s grave and we sitting by it. As I was looking at it, I notice the letters on the stone were all upper case. The letters looked like New Times Roman font cause of the Serif and the spacing of each letter were narrow.
