Cachihuancaray
Mina crafted rock salt, located in the community of the district Cachihuancaray mina San Antonio de Cachi Andahuaylas, is between 3530 meters. It exploited since time immemorial, the salt having a purity single is still used today for human and animal consumption. For the extraction of rock salt used commoners craft tools such as picks and sledgehammers. So this district is known as the region's mining capital.
