A Gentleman’s Affair with Stunning Diamond Engagement Rings
The bridal event of the year took place this past weekend, and the Tar Heel state was overrun with brides-to-be and their doting bridal parties. Southern belles and country princesses drove in from Alabama, South Carolina, and the Florida-Georgia line all with one common goal in mind: finding the perfect wedding dress! The annual North Carolina Bridal Exhibit took place in Wilmington over the weekend and the crowd turnout shattered attendance records from years past. “We saw an overwhelming surge in tickets being purchased this year. Before the event, we weren’t sure where all of these sales were coming from!” said the Events Director.
When the doors opened early Friday morning and people began streaming in, it quickly became clear why the masses had grown so tremendously.
“We were shocked by how many men were coming into the event. We had never seen anything like it!” said a representative from local fine jewelry store Perry’s Emporium.
When the bridal exhibits, coordinators and promoters first began planning back in the spring, they knew they wanted to somehow appeal to a much wider audience for this year’s exhibit. So instead of just showcasing dresses for the brides and their wedding parties, this year’s event would also highlight the finest jewelry in south.
“The goal was bring in more women! I mean, what girl doesn’t want to stare at beautiful diamond jewelry all day?” the Event Director stated.
So when the vast majority of attendees were actually men, the event leaders realized they had really caught onto something special. All of the fine jewelry available throughout the exhibit, like those on
display at the Perry’s Emporium booth, were being offered at unbelievably affordable prices.
“At Perry’s, not only do we have our bridal wedding dress boutique, but we are a fine jewelry store as well. We are accustomed to having men come in looking for diamond engagement rings,” said one jeweler. “Having so many men show up at the exhibit shopping for affordable engagement rings, well that was a shock to us all!”
The predominately female-attended event has now become a southern gentleman’s dream for finding the perfect diamond engagement ring. The event coordinators now hope to make next years exhibit even bigger and better for their new handsome attendees.
