PSF’s Festival of Song presents rising and established stars of the opera world in intimate one-hour recitals at the Scottish Rite Temple. Each performance is followed by a reception in the Grand Ballroom where you are invited to meet the artists over drinks and desserts.
Sopranos Tamara Wilson and Heidi Melton are both hailed for their interpretations of some of opera’s most dramatic roles. Performance Santa Fe’s Festival of Song brings these luminaries together for an electrifying afternoon recital. Wilson, the 2016 recipient of the prestigious Richard Tucker Award, will make her Santa Fe Opera debut this summer in the role of Isolde in Wagner’s Tristan und Isolde. Already an established interpreter of powerful Wagnerian roles such as Brünnhilde, Heidi Melton possesses “a fluid voice without limitation” (The Scotsman). These two superstar sopranos take the stage for what will be an unforgettable recital.
