Heat the oil in a large, wide pan with a lid. Add the chicken and fry them quickly until light brown. Add onion and ginger for flavour, then continue to fry the chicken for an additional two minutes. Add 150 ml of water, the saffron or turmeric, honey and carrots. Bring the mixture to a boil, and then cover with a lid. Lower the heat and allow this
