Romania at a Glimpse Day 1: Bucharest - Targu Neamt Group meeting in Bucharest. Departure to Targu Neamt to visit the renowned monasteries of Bucovina: Agapia, Varatec, Neamt. Dinner (monastic menu) and accommodation in the Neamt monastery. Day 2: Targu Neamt – Piatra Neamt - Gheorghieni – Praid – Sovata Today we’ll have a scenic drive to Sovata. In Piatra Neamt we’ll have a short pedestrian tour (ruins of the Princely Court, St John’s Church, Gothic Bell Tower) and we’ll drive through the Bicaz Gorges (one of the most impressive monuments of nature) where we’ll have a photo stop. Wine tasting and lunch in Pride’s underground gallery. Visit the Praid Salt mine wine gallery (exhibition of more than 275 wines from 25 vineyards from 6 countries), visit the Salt Museum, underground church. Dinner and accommodation in Sovata. Day 3: Sovata – Sighisoara – Brasov Early breakfast. Drive to Sighisoara - sightseeing tour of this medieval town (Citadel Square, Church on the Hill, Dracula’s Birthplace, Venetian House, Clock Tower, Wooden Covered Stairway with 175 steps).

Lunch in the Casa Vlad Dracul restaurant - the birth place of Vlad the Impaler (“Dracula”). We’ll continue the way to Brasov - a fascinating city situated in an enchanted area, a land that preserved traces of ancient, medieval and modern history, cultural life. Walking tour in the old part of Brasov, visit the Black Church -an imposing Gothic architectural monument which construction lasted almost a century, Council Hall, Hirscher House (16th century), St Nicolas of Schei Church (16thcentury). Dinner and accommmdation in Brasov or Poiana Brasov mountain resort. Day 4: Brasov - Bran – Peles Castle Departure from Brasov to Bran. Visit the Bran Castle (14th century) - “Dracula’s Castle”. The road to Sinaia - “the pearl of the Bucegi Mountains”, visit to the Peles Castle – the Romanian Royal family residence (19th century), ranked the sixth most beautiful castle in the world. We guarantee a true delight. Lunch and sparkling wine tasting at the Rhein Wine Cellars (since 1892) in Azuga. Arrival in Bucharest. End of the program.
