SHOP SITES UP FOR GRABS THE ONGOING SAGA OF THE DESERTED CORNER SHOP AT PEREGIAN SQUARE HAS TAKEN ANOTHER TWIST WITH THE PROPERTY NOW ON THE MARKET, ALONG WITH ITS NEIGHBOURING BUILDING.
Century 21 Peregian Beach have listed the old supermarket site, 6 Heron St, along with 10 Kingfisher Drive as being for sale by tender, with submissions closing on August 1, 2022. The supermarket site has been vacant since 2017. Its owners had plans to redevelop the space and add another level on top, however the development application has lapsed and a new application would be required. Eastern Beaches News - July 2022
Combined, the Kingfisher Drive and Heron Street properties offer a 542sqm site. The Kingfisher Drive property is split into three tenancies currently occupied by Peregian Beach Bakery, The Post Office and Soul Sanctuary. In promoting the property the Century 21 team suggest it offers an opportunity to breath new life into the prominent corner of the square. “The combined site of 542sqm will be the first of its kind offered in recent Peregian Beach Village history, offering the buyer the chance to redevelop the site and set a new architectural standard for commercial in this vibrant coastal town.”
