Our Service Leisure Target Tourism Services is dedicated to providing a high-quality visitor information distribution service across the East of England and beyond. We strive at all times to be accountable, pro-active and cost-effective. We know that we are only as good as our last delivery on your behalf – for this reason we have invested heavily, not only in expanding our Mercedes vehicle fleet, but also in information systems designed to provide clients with leading-edge reporting and management systems – some of which are available on-line. We’re also here to help with your campaign planning and can bring our wealth of experience to bear on our working partnership – it’s just one way we add value. We’re also developing additional products which reflect our ability to think “outside the box”. Our Customer Satisfaction Surveys tell us that we’re doing very well, but we want to be exceptional. Only the best will do and we will continue to develop our services way beyond those of our competition.

2010 Distribution Planner Our Distribution Planner for the 2010 Season is set in the table shown below October 2009 - January 2010

Client visits to take place to agree distribution patterns and leaflet quantities Leisure Target to provide quotation/ contract to be signed and accepted by the client.

January 2010

Clients to arrange delivery of leaflets into stock (NO LATER THAN 5TH FEBRUARY). First Tourist information Centre order form issued for those leaflets in stock. All outlets are circulated with details of the service requesting acceptance for the forthcoming season. Leisure Target circulates all clients requesting concession offer to be included in the Trade Passport. Premiere outlet distribution commences.

February 2010

All Tourist Information Centres and order points are mailed a voucher copy of all leaflets and an order form so they can request stocks (despatched within 5 working days). D Outlets mailed order form so they can request stocks. Distribution to C Outlets commences. Leisure Target produces and distributes concession passport to all participating outlets.

5th February Deadline for receipt of leaflets March 2010

Distribution to all A and B Outlets commences. Two further Tourist Information Centre order forms are mailed out one during the first week of the month and one during week 3 of the month (orders again despatched within 5 working days).

April 2010

Distribution to all A and B Outlets continues and is completed prior to Good Friday. Merchandising top ups of A and B Outlets commences. Two further Tourist Information Centre order forms sent out during this month following the same pattern as March. Initial distribution report is collated.

Good Friday 2nd April June 2010

Pro - active chase up call and subsequent orders fulfilled for D Outlets. Two further Tourist Information Centre order forms sent out during these months following the same pattern as March.

Outlet Categorisation LID (Localised Intensive Distribution)

Tourist Information Centres & Points (TICs & TIPs)

In addition to our highly targeted distribution options, many clients make selective use of our LID service which offers them “blanket” coverage in a specific location. High impact point-of-sale leaflet dispensers are placed in a wide range of retail and leisure outlets on a “one-off” basis. LID does not include a replenishment service, but offers maximum versatility as clients can opt to use LID for special events at different points in the season. We can provide an indication of the number of available LID outlets for a specified area to assist with campaign planning.

This is a supplementary service which enables attractions and accommodation outlets to promote themselves beyond their regional boundaries. They can access potential customers from further afield – making the most of the opportunities offered by the growing short and weekend break market. Our UK database of TICs is comprehensive and up-to-date, for example there are over 300 in the 6 counties of the East of England alone – and around 800 across mainland UK. TICs/TIPs can order quickly and easily through our website at www.leisure-target.co.uk. This allows them to order in the quantities they require at short notice, removing the need to hold stock and minimising wastage. Centres without internet access can utilise our postal/ fax order form on a monthly basis.

B Outlets

These are individual, high footfall and high profile venues outside the more usual attraction and accommodation outlets. They are Prime locations, such as railway stations, motorway service areas and supermarkets, and are high volume and high maintenance. We aim to visit these outlets on a weekly basis throughout the year.

Medium to large attractions plus accommodation outlets comprising more than 50 units are visited on a 21-day cycle during the season, with a minimum of 10 visits per outlet.

A six-weekly merchandising visit to accommodation outlets comprising 16-50 units and very small attractions, ensures excellent availability of visitor information in this important sector.
