From our guest correspondent Love sexy shoes? Then you must pay a visit to the newest shop in town - situated at the end of the walkway between Three Cooks and Anupam - Hannah Campbell, a former Pepper & Oz waitress has opened her new shop.
Our party headed to Pepper & Oz last night in anticipation of the new Dinner menu! The streets of Great Malvern were earily quiet - is there any life after dark in this Priory Town? Suddenly we heard pleasant jazz emanating from alongside the wrongly named 'Abbey Gateway' and purple fairy lights came into view. Looking inside it was like another world a packed room with waitresses carrying trays of drinks to eager customers and a real buzz that you could feel through the doors before entering.
Hannah's offering Club Pepper & Oz members a pair of faux leather twists for the same price when you buy a pair of satin Butterfly Twists at only ÂŁ15! Pop in for a browse - you'll be very welcome - mention Club Pepper & Oz double twist offer!
Concerned there were no seats left, we were assured the rear 'Priory Room' had tables, but we were seated on a recently vacated table in the front 'Gateway Room'. The 'godfather' of the party had 'Timbale of Broccoli' a tasty light textured starter that preceded a fish dish that you must eat before you die - Hailbut en papillote - a beautiful fillet of fish delicately cooked (actually baked in paper) in lemon and white wine with spring onions and tiny slices of vegetables. Gorgeous! Her who shall be obeyed had an Amaretto (almond liqueur for her dessert, us boys had lime and ginger creme brulee - tantalisingly tasty.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
