BREAST RESTAURANT IN TOWN?

As Worcestershire NHS promotes breast feeding look out for restaurants who have the accreditation logo above. If you are or know of any mums or mums to be let them know. The nominations arising from the last edition featured Pepper & Oz, The Brasserie (1). Keep the feedback coming please! Give us your feedback on the best restaurant or cafe for new Mum's breastfeeding their babies in a relaxed atmosphere - send your nominations to the Editor@VisitGreatMalvern.co.uk

BEER OF THE WEEK .... FROM REAL ALE to ABBOT ALE to PRIORY ALE? Set in the heart of Great Malvern, the Unicorn Inn is one of the oldest public houses in the country dating back to 1659 - find out more about this historic Inn here. The Unicorn has a regularly changing range of real ales so why not try a tipple there!

Alternatively the new Guest Lager at Pepper & Oz, The Brasserie is the Belgian Abbey beer, Leffe Blonde. The Leffe Abbey in Belgium was the first Abbey to license the production of its beer by a commercial brewery with royalties being paid to the Abbey since 1952!

30% Off Offer!

To sample a glass al fresco in the distinctive 'Leffe' branded glass for 30% off, print this voucher out and present at Pepper & Oz before 7 August. Cannot be used with any other offer!

Interestingly Malvern Priory has not, as far as we know, got a similar arrangement with a commercial brewer for the production of 'Priory Ale' but if you know different - let us know! Email the editor@VisitGreatMalvern.co.uk

FISH - LEADS THE WAY IN ONE OF MALVERN'S RESTAURANTS - CLICK THE PIC TO FIND OUT

Last edition's 'Where is the Harbour?' competition was won by Helen Reeves from Colwall who receives a ÂŁ5 voucher to spend in a GMAT members establishment! The harbour was the birthplace and playground of Pepper & Oz's Italian Chef, Salvatore Zero, whose passion for fish dishes is reflected in his new Fish Menu which can be seen here

SUMMER ICE CREAM & STAMPS - ALL AT THE POST OFFICE! As the summer heat rolls on and on, we cannot believe our luck, with Malvern temperatures often higher than overseas resorts. Now's the time for an ice cream!

Sara and Nigel Morris, your hosts at Great Malvern Post Office / Thorntons are offering free chocolate sticks and chocolate sauce with their delicious ice creams - make sure you quote the 'Great Malvern Weekender' when you order your ice cream to get them!

BOOK AHEAD for your LOVE of LOCAL PRODUCE! Malvern's Abbey Road Farmers market returns on Saturday 21 August so make a note in your diaries! Coffees available at the Great Malvern Deli and Pepper & Oz alongside the market in Abbey Road

AS GREAT MALVERN BECOMES THE BOUTIQUE CAPITAL OF WORCESTERSHIRE can you bag a handbag on the cheap? Well as the summer sales take off why not pop down to ISIS Boutique alongside ANUPAM, Malvern's leading Indian Restaurant on Church Street.

INVESTORS - Is it a good time to buy a hotel? Well, clearly national pub/hotel chain Weatherspoons think so as they plan the refurbishment of the Foley Hotel. Promising early breakfasts and more than twenty ensuite rooms the re-opening of this landmark property will do much to restore the town's accommodation capacity - let us hope the sad and derelict Tudor Hotel is injected with some much needed investment too!

FILM and THEATRE For all the latest see the theatre web site here Have a great week and weekend in Great Malvern!

Yours sincerely
