peonywong An enthusiastic and determined graphic designer with passion and organized mind. Graphic design is everywhere, it plays a major role in my daily life. My design philosophy is to keep everything simple, minimal and fresh so that the message could transmitted clearly and effectively. ANIMAL PUNS Product Design, Typography _

I will be using ‘Animal puns’ (or paronomasia): a form of word-play suggesting two or more meanings to develop different products. By replacing a word in a sentence with a similar-sounding word can give a sense of humor or an abstract effect. These puns are used to create humor and sometimes require a large vocabulary to be understood. The products will have a large focus on love. _

GENDER FLUIDITY Drawing _

In our society people tend to use the terms “sex” and “gender” interchangeably and indeed often wrongly view them as the same thing. Sex is biological element, which refers to anatomy and hormones whereas gender is far more complicated phenomena. Being gender fluid has nothing to do with one’s birth sex, orientation or appearance. Gender fluid is better described as an identity performance that captures a dynamic mix of male and female traits, or not identifying and connecting with either, or indeed with both. The aim of this project is to visualize the concept of gender fluid and express the idea that people can live their lives without the restrictive binary boundaries and stereotypical expectations from our heteronormative society. _

SAMSONITE Drawing, Digital Art _

This mixing phenomenon in Hong Kong has been widely used, it also indicate as a hybrid of writing and speech. In order to arouse public interest of the mix culture in Hong Kong from the vanishing memories of local art and the futuristic modern style. My ideas is to represent Hong Kong by mixing traditional and modern style, since it happens to be a mixed cultured place where have different nationalities. The three words means 852 in Chinese and it is the country code of Hong Kong. To visualize the concept of mix culturalism in Hong Kong by integrated the idea of combining traditional Chinese calligraphy and English, by exploring different techniques of calligraphy and how can Chinese and English works well together. _

Branding, Visual Identity _

Create a new visual identity for Raffles International College Graphic Design department. This new visual identity consist visible elements that express a creative, modern and energetic feel for our department. The identity system include logo design, Facebook page cover and other promotional materials. The aim of this project is to promote our Graphic Design department to all the others. The logo consist from a circle shape letter “G” and the page corner of the “D” shape. The concept is to combine two letters together and form the G shape book and have a flipped corner. How a new era of graphic design began for designer is like a new chapter of book and we are the new page of Graphic Design. _

PITTAS HALLOUMI CHEESE Branding, Visual Identity, Web Design _

To redesign the visual language of Pittas Halloumi Cheese, appropriate their identity to focus on Hong Kong’s consumer market and to promote and maximize their brand awareness within HK market. The responsive website fits to different devices, it includes five pages - home, about us, products, recipes and contact us. The home page composed from the home banner and latest news, also the details of #COOK FOR LOVE challenge campaign which include the time-line and prizes. The app act as a promotional tool for the #COOK FOR LOVE challenge, to inspire people with recipes and to better introduce Halloumi Cheese to a large audience in Hong Kong’s market. _

UTOPIA SMOOTHIE LAB Branding, Visual Identity, Editorial Design _

To create branding and visual identity for my own beverages start-up, Utopia The Smoothie Lab, and to extend the visual language created on the logo, product, stationery, recipe book and other brand collaterals. Targeting fitness, health and wellness across all ages, we are going to launch different series of smoothies that fit different groups. While the product range will be beneficial to the general population even our flurry friends, it would fight the biggest enemies of HongKongers; diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure, intestinal cancer and heart disease. Join us and start the journey of healthy lifestyle by simply enjoying a sip of smoothies. _

Develop creative campaigns and design concepts, design online/offline promotional materials and work with social media. Worked on mobile application project with JNTO: Japan Stamp Hunter is Japan National Tourism Organization’s travel app. Users can collect stamps through GPS service when visiting selected attractions. Develop the user interface and work directly with the app developer and programmer. _
