The Greenville Board of Development summarized some projects that occurred in Greenville in 2012 at the September 25, 2012 City Council Meeting. While the following list did not cover everything, Greenville has had several private business and public infrastructure successes recently that have helped create positive economic momentum in 2012 including:  Completion of $40 million TXDOT I-30 and Hwy. 34 interchange and lane improvements in 2012  Completion of $1.6 million new industrial street and utilities project in 2012  Start of new Monty Stratton Street road construction project, $2.5 million in 2012  Completion of Traders Road Construction Project, $4 million in 2012  Completion of $20 million new city wastewater treatment plant in 2012  L3, our largest private employer of 5,700 employees, new $8 million office building expansion in 2012  L3 new $4 million hangar in 2012  Weatherford new Phase 2 $26 million, 100 employee plant expansion in 2012  Weatherford new Phase 3 duplicate plant expansion construction started  Local manufacturing company doubling their plant in 2012  $1 billion NYSE energy services company purchase of existing 123K s.f. industrial building in 2012  Just announced $11 million dollar redevelopment of Crossroads Mall Project, 2012 – 2013
