BLACK BEARS ROAM THE GROUNDS!

The Black Bears are on the prowl as Pennsylvania Highlands' athletics have become an integral part of the college experience for our students and staff.

The Black Bears of Pennsylvania Highlands do battle in BOWLING, CROSS COUNTRY, MEN’S BASKETBALL, and WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL. Our Black Bears compete in the Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference (WPCC), with over 10 member institutions from the surrounding areas.

In just a short amount of time, the Black Bears have seen great success. Multiple winning seasons, continous playoff appearances, all-conference players, and NJCAA scholar athletes are just a few of our accomplishments. Athletes often use our Athletics Department as a platform for advancement in collegiate athletics.

BUILD CHARACTER Get involved!

Serving the needs of our students, Student Activities provides social, recreational, and educational options, all of which enhance the college experience. Dances, games, contests, trips, community service, and many other activities are constantly being planned!

A family within the family!

Student clubs and organizations are key elements in creating an atmosphere that make all students feel welcome. With so many options, the hardest part will be deciding which ones to join. They help students further identify their interests, creating lifelong friendships in the process. Opportunities to connect beyond the classroom occur often, helping our students shape their futures!

IN AND OUT OF THE CLASSROOM!

Through club involvement, students get the chance to develop and strengthen their team-building, leadership, and networking skills. These student groups allow everyone to explore various interests and to broaden horizons. If we don’t offer it, why not suggest it?
