In the same year Marras is active in several projects: the exhibition Il Racconto della Forma in Masedu former soap factory: his poetry is told through his clothes, sketches, pictures, videos and installations. The project Trama Doppia: a series of annual exhibitions by which Marras works each time with a different artist: “Llencols de aigua” with Maria Lai (2003), “Uno più uno meno” with Claudia Losi (2004), “Minyonies” a reflection on childhood with a group of artists (2005), “Noi facciamo. Loro Guardano” with Carol Rama (2006). In May 2007 The contemporary line I’M ISOLA MARRAS is launched, debuting with the 2008-2009 Autumn/Winter season. A more accessible collection characterized by the same Marras’ world codes. In January 2014 the Menswear line has re-debutes with the FW 14-15 collection. To the purpose of further streng- then the core of the Marras world, both collections are displayed at Circolo Marras showroom in Milan, the Sardinian designer’s general headquarters. In 2009, in the occasion of the design week, he curates the exhibition La Bea for Il Sole 24 Ore and in the same year he makes the costumes for Luca Ronconi’s theatre performance “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” In 2011 he presents the exhibition “Archivio Provvisorio” at the Biennale in Venice in the Italian Pavilion. ras is opened in Milan with an exhibition of Claudia Losi and in September he curates Un altro tempo by Lea Vergine at Mart museum in Rovereto. In December he presents Vedetti Credetti with Lucia Pescador, an exhibition curated by Francesca Alfano Miglietti. In 2013 he was bestowed the Laurea Honoris Causa in Visual Arts by the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan. In 2014 Marras presents The Game, Antonio Marras/Andreas Schultze at Case d’Arte Gallery in Milan and takes part to the collective exhibition IOèTE, Milan-London. In 2015 he is awarded for the best installation of the design week with Segno Italiano: Il Sentiero dei nidi di ragno. Marras goes through all the aspects of visual culture, from decoration to details belonging to ages and worlds that are apparently incompatible. His icons are anarchic an irregular figures that cannot be categorized. He is known for his intellectual curiosity and for his research that spreads far from the typical stereotypes of fashion. His creations tell stories of identity, exiled and refugees, multiculturalism, world and destiny. In 2016 Triennale in Milan celebrates Antonio Marras by an important retrospective exhibition.
