THE HORIZON HOUSEHOLD TIP

Cook’s Corner SLOW COOKER BUFFALO CHICKEN SANDWICHES

For greasy food stains on clothing, use Dawn dish soap. Blot fresh grease stain with a paper towel or napkin. Squeeze a large drop of Dawn dish soap directly onto stain, enough to cover entire stained area; let sit for about an hour or until your next laundry day. Wash clothing as usual.

Ingredients: • 4-6 large skinless, chicken breasts (*frozen is okay) • 1 jar buffalo wing sauce (12-17 oz. jar) {I use Hooters Hot Wing sauce, medium} • 1 pkg. Ranch dressing mix (1 oz.) • Hoagie rolls or Slider buns Directions: Place chicken breasts into slow cooker. Pour entire jar of buffalo wing sauce over chicken breasts. Empty entire package of dry Ranch dressing mix over chicken and sauce. Cover with lid and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours. *If using frozen breasts, cook on LOW 8-9 hours. Once chicken has cooked, shred the meat finely using two forks and return it tothe slow cooker. Serve the chicken on Hoagie rolls or Slider buns. This makes a great Super Bowl or game day snack! Note: You can adjust the spicy flavor of this dish by choosing a mild Buffalo wing sauce.
