To Our Veterans... In honor of Veterans Day I wish to thank all Veterans for their service to our country. Your sacrifice brought us freedom and has kept us free since our nations birth in 1776. Please, find a

Veteran and tell them how much you appreciate them. Again, thank you to all that have served. Sincerely, Mark & Rebekah Snipp

To Eagle Springs... National Night Out was a success on October 1st. We sponsored Meridian Cove and Montecito Point Neighborhood Night Out. Thanks to all that came and had Authentic Vienna Beef Chicago Style Hot Dogs with all the trimmings. A special thanks to the Atascocita Volunteer Fire Department for bringing their fire engine to view and let the kids see it and play on it, with supervision of course! Getting to know neighbors is a tradition in our local neighborhood. Thanks to all that brought jars of peanut butter and macaroni cheese. A full box of items was delivered to the local church food pantry because of your generosity. Together we made a difference for someone in their time of need. Happy Thanksgiving! This is a special time! Open your home to friends, family, or anyone in need of a good meal in a family atmosphere this Thanksgiving. Do not forget to help the less fortunate, if you have the ability, think about providing a turkey for those that cannot afford one. Just a small way we can pass down our blessings to others in the community.

I would like to thank all resident neighbors past and present that have given me the honor of working with them on their real estate transaction. The trust you have shown in my services will always be appreciated. I treat every real estate transaction with the utmost of care. It is my duty to give to you extraordinary service, competence and integrity. I will protect your interest in every real estate transaction from negotiation to disclosure and everything in between. Free Local Move after closing for My Clients! Restrictions Apply! Call for Details! I can assist you with buying, selling, leasing and relocation (We are a Cartus Associate Network Broker). If a real estate transaction is in your plans within the next year, let’s meet now to put together a plan of action for the future. EAGLE SPRINGS Eagle Spring Neighborhood Night Out CELEBRATING NATIONAL NIGHT OUT…

Was a huge success! We kicked it off with a Community-wide celebration at the Sports Complex, highlighted by Life Flight coming in for a landing on our soccer fields. Both adults and children got to go inside the helicopter and check it out. Our Atascocita Volunteer Fire Department was there as well to ensure a safe landing and show off their Fire and EMS Trucks along with their equipment. The biggest hit, which came as no surprise, was “Dunk the Deputy.” Our own Sgt. Bloomfield stepped up to take his chances against some of Eagle Springs’ finest throwing arms! There were lots of activities for both young and old! Face Painting, Balloons, Bounce Houses, Magic Show and Train Rides, along with a Giant Obstacle Course. Harris County Office of Emergency Management was there to provide info and gave away some really cool gadgets. Kroger provided us with bottled water handed out by our Neighborhood Watch, Century 21 was there passing out sno-cones, and our Cub Scouts had lemonade and popcorn for all to enjoy. P-4 Constables handed out info and were there to fingerprint our kids, while showing off their K-9 Unit, Mounted Patrols and ATV Patrols! Our Landscape Committee and Sports Fields Committee were there with trees and t-shirts.

TIPS TO PREVENT RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES The residents of Eagle Springs enjoy a very safe community but, in the United States a residential burglary takes place approximately every 15 seconds. In addition to the property loss, victims often develop personal feelings of vulnerability resulting from these crimes.

Below are some tips to help you from becoming a victim • Install dead-bolt locks on all exterior doors – and use them. • Trim plants and shrubs back to avoid giving burglars cover, and trim tree branches so there is no access to upper windows. • Leave shades and blinds in normal positions. • Keep porches, entrances, and driveways well lit. • Keep garages and sheds closed and locked when not in use • Store tools and ladders securely out of the way when not in use. • Never carry identification tags on your keys. • Do not hide “spare house keys” outside. • Keep daily routines confidential and vary them when possible. • Do not put valuables where they are visible from a door or window of your home. • Do not let strangers into your home to use the phone. • Put lights and television and/or stereo on timers. • Make sure your exterior lights are not on during day light hours. • Do not let newspapers build up on your driveway and/or property. • Do not let mail build up and/or over flow your mail box. If you are going out of town and would like to submit a Vacation Watch for your residence please visit the Harris County Constables Office Pct 4 website at WWW.CD4.HCTX.NET access the online services section and scroll down to the vacation watch icon, or contact the 24hr Dispatch line at (281)376-3472 to submit via telephone.

Get Back to Living

With our comprehensive musculoskeletal program When your muscles, bones, tendons, blood vessels, nerves and joints hurt, it affects quality of life. If you’re dealing with a complex condition such as arthritis, tendonitis or osteoporosis, or trying to bounce back after a debilitating injury or joint replacement surgery, the Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital musculoskeletal program offers comprehensive care to get you back to living on your terms. The program features a comprehensive clinic in Humble, staffed by Memorial Hermann-affiliated, fellowship trained orthopedic and neurological surgeons. Using the newest technology, they help patients regain strength, mobility, flexibility and functional independence. Also on hand is a team of rehabilitation specialists who can guide patients to a safe and timely return to daily activities. Joshua Woody, M.D., a physician affiliated with the program, is fellowship trained in shoulder and elbow surgery. He has extensive experience in joint replacement and complex reconstruction of both upper and lower extremities. He says, “Losing normal joint and muscle function, whether through a medical condition, trauma or prolonged repetitive motions, can be very frustrating. Our goal is to help patients return to work and the activities they enjoy, whether it’s athletics or a stroll around the block.” Other physicians affiliated with the Memorial Hermann Northeast musculoskeletal program include Theodore Shybut, M.D., Shaun Weaver, M.D., and Albert Fenoy, M.D. The musculoskeletal team treats patients of all ages and is the preferred provider for Humble ISD student athletes. Non-athletes are also welcome and worker’s compensation is accepted.

To learn more about the Memorial Hermann Northeast musculoskeletal program, please call 281.319.5900 or visit memorialhermann.org/northeast.
