elcome to the 2010 Peak Performance Hockey Camps! For seventeen years, we have been dedicated to providing a hockey camp environment that has proven to be challenging, educational, and enjoyable! Our objective is to ensure that each participant has an opportunity to learn how to improve their individual skills and to leave camp with a game plan for enhanced skills development. We are family-owned and operated, and take pride in knowing that our customers receive a first-class hockey camp experience. The window of opportunity for skills development is now upon your child. We look forward to providing the skills training to help take your child to the next level of play!
EXPERIENCE THE POWER! Feel the force! Train like the professionals train with our over-speed and resistance training equipment. We are committed to helping you advance your skills to the next level, and with our newly designed training programs you will improve. You will not find a speed program utilizing our advanced speed and power programs. The fastest way to get the edge on your competition is at the Peak Performance Hockey Camps in 2010!
– Bob and Lisa Montrose
WHY SKILLS TRAINING? In a game, an average player has the puck on his stick for only 20-30 seconds. Hardly enough time to feel the puck, let alone develop any hockey skills. As far as skating, he will be on the ice for an average of 12-14 minutes in a one hour game. Make the smart choice this summer. Games alone will not get it done. Choose to develop your individual skills! Great players know ... it takes training!
ON-ICE TRAINING Peak Performance Hockey Camps prides itself in this area. We offer each camper six hours of ice time each day. This part of the day will be used to teach Player and Team Player Development Skills.
Our Player Development Program consists of power skating, stick-handling, passing, power shooting, scoring, speed and agility training, and creative confidence sessions. Peak Performance staff members will be ready to assist each player by showing the proper form for each skill by demonstration and by using video analysis. Each player will leave this program with the knowledge of how and why they must master these skills.
TEAM PLAYER DEVELOPMENT As we all know, hockey is a great team sport. Our Team Player Development Program will show the importance of team play and how to utilize each player on your team. With thorough instruction from our staff, each player will leave this program understanding the importance of each position on the ice. Each player will learn offensive, defensive, neutral zone, and breakout strategies. A team player will make it to the next level!
The Highest Standards In The Hockey Camp Business • 24-Hour Supervision and Medical Care • State Inspected Housing and Dining Program • Experienced, Professionally-Trained Skills Instructors and Counselor Staff • Emphasis on Individual Hockey Skills Training and Individual Skills Development
OFF-ICE TRAINING This program will teach several different off-ice training methods. Quickness and agility sessions, plyometrics, and aerobic training will be emphasized. Power Shooting techniques for developing accuracy and velocity will be stressed. Peak Performance staff members will be training right along with each camper. Players will also work on concentration techniques and personal motivation training.

PLAYER/PARENT CAMPS Our Player/Parent Camps are uniquely set up to include Mom or Dad in the on and off ice activities as well as the recreation events. Mom or Dad will enjoy this outing while enhancing their skills and knowledge of the game and will have the opportunity to scrimmage in our late night staff games. These camps have limited enrollment and always fill up fast. Parents attending the player/parent camp can participate as much or as little as they choose. Some parents are active in the training sessions while others choose to take note of the training techniques. The option is yours!
GIRLS & WOMEN’S CAMPS The Peak Performance Hockey Camps have recognized the demand for quality training designed specifically for female hockey players and have structured our on and off-ice training to meet these needs. The success of our Girls and Women’s Camps will continue to grow in the summer of 2010!
From some of our parent campers: “The week of hockey, swimming, and fishing with my son is the highlight of our summer.” - Mike Carroll, New York City, NY “A super hockey camp setting. The entire experience was first rate.” - Jay Silverman, St. Louis, MO “PPHC offers the best of both worlds—learning hockey and spending a week with a great roommate, my son.” - Joe Cornicelli, Ann Arbor, MI “Your staff and instructors are terrific. You should feel very good about the people who represent your camp.” - John Rawlings, Warson Woods, MO
