American Security Council Foundation About The Voter Index The Voter Index, since the early 1970’s, has been an annual rating system evaluating the voting record of each member of Congress on what the ASCF considers the important national security issues of the day. The considerations expressed herein are solely those of the ASCF and should not be attributed to any Member of Congress or any other person referred to herein. The ASCF considers a member’s rating of 80% or higher as supportive of our country’s national security interests.

Voter Index Legend [+] Supports ASCF position [-] Does not support ASCF position [NV] Member did not participate [NA] Not in Office at time of vote 80% or higher is considered a passing score
