THE GI VER Imagine a world without joy or pain. Or love. Or war. Or color. For Jonas, a young man living in a "utopian" society, the world you're imagining is a reality. That is until he's given his first career assignment... Jonas is tasked with receiving and keeping knowledge of the past. Suddenly, his world is filled with color and Jonas must decide whether to keep it secret or share it with the people around him, opening their eyes and potentially destroying the society he's been chosen to protect. Based on the award-winning novel of the same name, The Giver explores what it means to live a full life, showing how both the good things in life and the bad are all worth it in the end.
