Spectrum also carries a wide selection of sunglasses, available in both prescription and non-prescription lenses. Minor repairs and routine frame adjustments can also be provided by the opticians, if necessary. Born and raised in Kelowna, Dr. Gautier completed her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Immunology at the University of British Columbia. She headed east to pursue a career in optometry, where she completed her Doctor of Optometry at the University of Waterloo, earning many awards throughout the duration of her studies. Dr. Gautier has conducted research at the B.C. Cancer Agency and has volunteered with the Lions Club International, where she travelled to northern Chile to provide eye care to those in need. She is thrilled to be back in her home-province and is enjoying both the Peninsula and the patients she has treated since joining Spectrum’s team. A small-town, friendly atmosphere is something the doctors and staff at Spectrum Optometry strive for, along with close relationships with their patients. Not only does this create a welcoming and fun environment for patients, it also allows Spectrum to fit their patients with the best possible product, specifically suited to their lifestyle and needs.
