Important Information Terms The terms of the sale are cash or cheque, payable in Canadian Funds at par in Pincher Creek, AB. unless satisfactory arrangements have been made previous to the sale. The right of property shall not pass until full settlement is made. All settlement must be made with Southern Alberta Livestock Exchange before any cattle will be released. Disputes In case of disputes, bidding will be re-opened between the parties involved. If no further bid is made, the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer decision will be final. Purchaser’s risk Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as the auctioneer has said sold. Announcements Errors discovered in the catalogue will be corrected by announcements from the auction stand at sale time and such corrections will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Buyers are cautioned to pay close attention to announcements. Accidents Although every precaution will be taken to protect the safety and comfort of the buyers and guests, neither the High Country bull sale consignors, Southern Alberta Livestock Exchange, or the Pincher Creek Ag. Society assumes any responsibility in this matter and disclaims any liability, legal or otherwise in the event of accident or loss of property. Breeder’s Guarantee All animals sold are guaranteed by the owner. Any animal that has not proven itself to be a breeder within six (6) months after the sale date, if in healthy condition may be returned to the seller at the buyers expense. The seller reserves the privilege of trying for six (6) months to prove the animal a breeder. The seller at their opinion, may either return the purchase price to the buyer or replace the animal with another of equal quality in full settlement of the claims. All yearlings bulls are guaranteed breeders if not used on more than fifteen (15) head of females and are at the full age of fourteen (14) months. The seller is not responsible for damaged caused by foreign bodies after the animal has been sold nor for sickness not apparent at sale time. Bull Criteria All bulls presented for the sale have met or exceeded these minimum standards. Yearling: Charolais - 1200 lbs. as of sale day and have a scrotal measurement of 32 cm. Angus - 1100 lbs. as of sale day and have a scrotal measurement of 32 cm. Two year olds: Charolais - 1750 lbs. as of sale day, Angus 1650 lbs. as of sale day or an equivalent WDA of 2.3 lbs. All two year olds have a current satisfactory semen test. All semen tests and scrotal measurement have been done by a licensed Veterinarian. PLEASE BRING THIS CATALOGUE WITH YOU TO THE SALE
