Did you know that . . . Army Emergency Relief staff handled 55,342 cases, resulting in assistance of $68.6 million to Soldiers and their families who had financial needs in 2012? The single, most prevalent category of need was Rent and Mortgages. Our clients also sought assistance to pay for emergency transportation, medical and dental bills, funerals, and setting up households, including security and utility deposits, furniture, car repairs, and more.
