Pine Crest is not only an extraordinary school; it is a journey. It is students’ discovered passions, the friends they make, and their exposure to new ideas. Pine Crest is a place where unique opportunities abound, where students find support to try something different and get better at something they love. It is a place of history and tradition but at the cutting edge of 21st century education.

HE AOER

The Pine Crest Fund: A gift of exceptional opportunities We continue to plant seeds of educational opportunities for your children, our students, through new teaching methods, new programs, and an evolving curriculum that keeps pace with a rapidly changing world. Having the best, most innovative learning environment ensures we will also attract the highest quality faculty, giving students the opportunity to benefit from their knowledge and mentoring.

Every year we rely on the tradition of annual, charitable, taxdeductible giving. Contributions to The Pine Crest Fund help us attract some of the nation’s best faculty while offering students the finest academic programs and most diverse experience possible. All gifts to The Pine Crest Fund are used during the year they are given, so they make an immediate difference to our students’ daily experience.

IT BEGINS with A PARTNERSHIP FOR EXCELLENCE The Pine Crest Fund is a partnership with parents, faculty, staff, and friends that supports all aspects of the Pine Crest experience. The Pine Crest Fund directly helps us offer innovative programs that set Pine Crest apart from other schools. Things like: • The Institute for Civic Involvement (ICI), a center for service learning and political activism that teaches students leadership skills as they become global citizens. • The Science Research Program that enables students to conduct college-level research in a teacher-guided, yet independent setting. • The Robotics program, helping students learn not only how to build and program robots, but effective teamwork and problem solving. • The Video, Film and Broadcasting Production Program. • Outstanding performing and visual arts programs, with theatrical productions, musicals, ballets, short plays, and concerts. • Diverse athletic programs with over 60 major sports teams, some of which have achieved state championship status. • Playgrounds designed to refine and enhance sensory and motor skills. • Outside organic gardens and animal habitats used as natural classrooms. Keeping the circle strong We recognize the sacrifices families make to offer their children a high-quality education at Pine Crest School. Yet, your gifts to The Pine Crest Fund serve a critical role in providing your children with more programs, more resources, more opportunities to discover their passion, and for you to be a true partner in excellence.
