Celebrating the Bond Between Humans and Animals

What’s on my Christmas Wish List? Just one thing: a Family! I'm Peanut and I’m just a big ole sweet, laid-back, Lab mix boy who loves his humans. At 1-year-old and 65 pounds, I’m just a big baby. I am very gentle and am great with other dogs and children. In fact, my foster family trusts me with their Chihuahuas. My foster mom is so proud of me because I haven't had any accidents in the house. My foster family is teaching me how to walk on a leash and how to play fetch. I'm doing well and like all the attention, but I'm a little lazy. I don't like being left alone, and my favorite activity is snuggling with my humans. I long for a home where someone will love me as much as I'll love them, someone who will feed me (a lot), scratch my back and belly, and play with me. Oh yeah, if it wouldn't be too much to ask, I really like lots of chew toys! My foster mom says I will melt your heart, just like I did hers. If you’d like to meet me, please call Cape Fear Rescue League at 910-207-2071 or email email@example.com and let’s get together! I’d now like to thank Michael Cline Photography for taking such a beautiful photo of me and giving me a chance to shine! Perhaps I’ll be spending my first fur-ever Christmas with someone reading this right now. Could that be you?

Visit our website at www.adtc.us Looking for a running companion, beach buddy or copilot? Well, so am I! My name is Rickie Bobby and I’m a 4-year-old Lab mix who is certain to be a great addition to your active lifestyle. I love playing with other dogs, going for long walks, strolling on the beach and riding in the car. I am a healthy young man who needs a great family to call my own. I won’t be out on the race track scene anytime soon but you can come visit me at C.A.R.E., 1808 Sir Tyler Drive here in Wilmington. Call 910-256-2624 for adoption details.
My name is Sweetie and I’m a boy who is looking for a loving family. I am ready to snuggle on your lap and follow you around for treats. I’m sweet, quiet and I’ll ignore your other pets. Kids are great, because then there are more hands to pet me and often some crumbs on the floor for me to gobble up. I don’t have any teeth, but that won’t stop me from snagging any morsel, hard or soft, that I can find. My age, well, I may be about 7-years but I feel young like a spring kitten and I’m healthy as a horse. Call 910-256-2624 and let’s see if we’re a match!

URGENT, URGENT! My Time Is Running Out! FAMILY DOG ALERT! My name is Logan (A023315) and I’m hoping my friendly face will melt your heart. You see, I’m a very sweet girl and I should be in a home, not a shelter! I’m already housetrained and cratetrained, I’m friendly to other dogs and I enjoy being with children. (I’ve seen cats, but never interacted with them.) They tell me I’m a 3-year-old Catahoula/Black and Tan Hound mix who is already spayed. I love to run and play and would really enjoy having a fenced-in yard so I can sniff the grass, chase balls and roll in the sunshine to my content. And then, when we’re back inside, I’ll relax with you and watch your favorite TV shows. Sounds good, doesn’t it? But please hurry! Dogs arrive every day and there’s just not enough room for us all. The shelter is open 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday, Noon to 4pm on Saturday and 1pm to 4pm on Sundays. For directions or more info, call Pender County Animal Shelter at 910-259-1484 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Hope to see you soon!
Hi! My name is Pikachu. I’m an adorable 6-monthold neutered male kitten. I have a fluffy tail and ears, soft fur, and large sweet paws. I love human contact and will beg for attention with a soft chirping meow. I also love treats, toys, and other cats. Alas, when I was taken in to the vet, I tested positive for FIV, the feline immunodeficiency virus which has no vaccine and no cure. I can live for many years inside where I will be safe from secondary infections, but I cannot be around cats who are negative for the disease due to the risk of transmission. I would dearly love to have a home where I am either the only cat or with another FIV positive cat. Please consider taking me into your heart and your home and give my foster mom a call at 910-262-8890. You will be so glad you did!!
I am sponsored by Cindy Meyers in loving memory of Harley and Murphy.

Adoption Options We are all from different Animal Rescues. Please read our stories! NHC RABBIT RESCUE OF WILMINGTON My name is Leo and I am a 6-year-old silver dwarf. I am neutered and litterboxtrained. I weigh 4.5 pounds and I am very laid-back and sweet. My owner surrendered me because their family expanded and no longer had time for me. Also, they said they are moving out of state and cannot take me with them. If you want to adopt me, please email NHCRabbitRescue@gmail.com, call 910-686-9171 or visit us at www.nhcrabbitrescue.com.
OPERATION TOPCAT My name is Kiara and I’m an 8-month-old, fluffy white and black girl. I’m sweet and friendly, I love to be petted and I like people. I don’t mind other cats but would prefer not to be with a dominant cat as I may be shy in those circumstances. I haven’t been around dogs but I think I’d be okay with a small, quiet, calm dog. I’ve been spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for Feline Leukemia and microchipped. I’m ready for my furrever home and lots of love. To adopt me, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 910-200-0612. My name is Lily and I’m an orange female who is 2½years-old. I came to Operation Topcat along with my babies. Now that they all have found homes, it’s my turn. I am a sweet and friendly girl who is quite talkative, too. I don’t mind other cats and have been fostered with dogs. I've been spayed, tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV, vaccinated and microchipped. I would do well in a quiet home with lots of love and attention. I have not been around children; however, everyone thinks I would be fine with older kids. Won't you consider adopting me? To adopt me, please email email@example.com or call 910-200-0612.

ANIMAL AVENGERS Hi, my name is Breeze and I’m a Border Collie and Lab mix who is around 1-year-old. I’m housetrained, crate-trained and I am continuing my training and education. I’m neutered and current on vaccines. If you would like to meet me, please complete an adoption application at animalavengersnc.org. If you would like more info, please give us a call today at 910-777-7186 or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
PENDER ENDANGERED ANIMAL RESCUE My name is Laila Ali! P.E.A.R. took great care of me after a dog attack. I’m feeling very good now, running and playing and looking forward to being adopted into a loving family. However, P.E.A.R. needs help in paying off my very large vet bill. Any amount would be appreciated! All donations are tax-deductible. Donations can be sent to Pender Endangered Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 582, Rocky Point, NC 28457. For more info, call P.E.A.R. at 910-675-0867.
PAWSITIVE PARTNERS PRISON PROGRAM Hi! I'm a 3-year-old male Lab mix named Zoom! I'll be joining the "Speedy" group with the Pawsitive Partners Prison Program in January after I've finished my heartworm treatment. I'm about half-way through and am neutered and vaccinated, so I’ll soon join the group and learn all the things to make me a perfect family pet. If you are interested in adopting me, go ahead and fill out an application at www.montyshome.org, email email@example.com or call 910-297-1338.

CAROLINA ANIMAL PROTECTION SOCIETY Hi, my name is Stache. I am an adorable gray and white, neutered boy who was born in November 2015. I am an excellent cuddler and sleeping partner. I get along well with other cats and dogs. I love to play, explore, and snuggle. I am very short (my legs are not very long) but I have a big personality. I sort of resemble a munchkin cat. I would love a forever home with lots of love. If you have any questions or would like to meet me, please contact Debbie at 910-330-1376.
COASTAL ANIMAL RESCUE EFFORT (C.A.R.E.) It’s me, Binky! I made my cover model debut on Photo by Dick Parrott the March issue of PawPrints Magazine and am so surprised that I am still waiting for a loving home! After all, I’m a very affectionate and friendly girl who is ready to be your treasured companion. I love attention from humans and, at just 4-years-old, I’m healthy, vaccinated, spayed, and litterbox-trained. Call today to make me the newest addition to your family! My friends can be reached at 910-256-2624.
“Within the heart of every stray lies the singular desire to be loved.” I could have written that. Blair is my name and I am the sweetest, most affectionate companion. In fact, I am remarkably loving! I’m a girl who adores people and wouldn’t mind crawling into your lap for attention. I am a strong, healthy 2-year-old who can be a bit much for small children or other pets. I have been spayed and vaccinated. To adopt me, call Silvia at 910-876-0539, visit us at www.AShelterFriend.org and www.facebook.com/ashelterfriend.
COASTAL CANINE RESCUE My name is Kiwi and I was taken in by Coastal Canine Rescue because I was being overlooked for adoption (due to a skin allergy) at a rural shelter. Now, I take Apoquel twice a day for slight skin allergies and it works very well to keep me comfortable and my allergies under control. I have been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed and take monthly heartworm prevention. Everyone says that I’m the absolute sweetest dog that they have ever met. I’m 7-years-old and love all people, dogs and cats. I am leash-trained, I like taking naps while you watch TV (even though I’d prefer to snuggle up next to you), I’m housetrained and crate-trained; and I do not bark so I’ll be great for an apartment or condo. If you’d like to meet me, email CoastalCanineRescue@ec.rr.com or call 910-470-5554.
FUREVER FRIENDS ANIMAL RESCUE
SOUTHERN REPTILE SAVIORS RESCUE I’m an adult male Coastal Carpet Python who measures a good 7 feet long! I’m approximately 5-years-old. I do need some work with temperament but I can be handled by someone with experience. Please contact Bruce with Southern Reptile Saviors Rescue at 910-599-1418. You can also look us up on Facebook at Southern Reptile Saviors Rescue Inc or visit www.thepamperediguana.com.
My name is Sophie. I am one very gentle, sweet and loving Terrier mix who is 11-months-old and just 12 pounds. My front leg is broken so I have to wear a cast until early to midDecember. I am living in a foster home with three other dogs and enjoying all the attention. I do well in a crate but like sleeping in bed with my foster mom better. For more information, contact Sharon at 910-617-3760 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Adoption applications are being accepted now in the hopes I will have a home as soon as I’m released from medical care - but I could be adopted before the cast is removed. Sure would love to have a forever home for Christmas!

(910) 799-3400 Cats ~ Dogs I’m Autumn (33839068), a sweet, 6-month-old Tortie girl. I rocked my fall photo shoot, and I was sure that I’d be adopted quickly. But as is often the case, I’ve been overlooked by adopters for smaller kittens. I’m a great young girl, and still very much a playful kitten myself. If you are looking for a beautiful, feisty young kitten to make your life complete, I’m the girl for you! Come meet me! I’m at Onslow County Animal Services, located at 244 Georgetown Road in Jacksonville. For info or to adopt me, call the adoption desk at 910-937-1164.
Oh, I just can’t wait to be someone’s best friend! My name is Skye and I’m a very happy, upbeat girl who would love nothing more than palling around with you. I’m a 2-year-old Boxer mix and I’ve never met a stranger. I just adore people and I only want to please. I know simple commands such as sit and stay, and I’ll shake paws if you ask me! I also enjoy playing with toys and would enjoy going for walks and adventures with my new human buddies. As for my health, it’s excellent! I’m spayed, vaccinated and on heartworm prevention. Won’t you come meet me today? If you don’t know the way, just give Pender Humane Society a call at 910-259-7022. They’ll also be happy to give you adoption information!

Adopt-An-ANGEL Please call 910-392-0557 to adopt us! ◄My name is Happy. You may remember me from last year. I was adopted and recently returned due to my owner’s failing health. I am a sweetheart who does well with kids and other dogs, too. I am the perfect size at just about 50 pounds and I have such pretty amber eyes and fur. Will you come meet me at Petco and adopt me? I want to feel loved again. ►My name is Herbie and I am an absolute doll. I live in a foster home with several cats, a small dog and a small child. I do well with everyone. I love to be vocal and I love to be petted. Will you come meet me at Petco on weekends? ►My name is Jenny and I am absolutely the BEST dog you will ever meet. I am so sweet that I will melt your heart with my soulful eyes and wonderful temperament. I absolutely love people and live just to please you. You may not know that when I was rescued, I was covered in systemic mange, suffered from internal parasites and heartworms. I was completely bald, but look at me NOW! In just three short months, I am completely healed and have blossomed into the beauty you see before you now. You can also see me on page 3 in Joseph Zell’s ad. I haven’t been around other animals yet, but if you have them I could meet them. I am crate-trained and super smart, too. Come meet me at Petco on Saturdays or Sundays from 11am to 5pm.
►Hi, my name is Dozier. I am a wonderful dog who is superfriendly and outgoing. I am about 3-years-old and weigh about 65 pounds. I am drop-dead gorgeous with tan fur that is almost silver. I do well with other dogs and cats, too. I need an experienced dog owner because I am very, very smart and have some escape tendencies. I would do best in a home with a fenced-in yard and some active, energetic people. ►My name is Sampson and I am one super-sweet kitty cat. I love to play, run and romp. Who knew adult cats could play? Well, I certainly do. I seem to do well with cats, kids and dogs so I can fit in absolutely anywhere. Come meet me and see how pretty I am. I am a tuxedo Tabby which is kind of rare. As you know, most tuxedos are black and white, but I am unique with my Tabby tux and white mittens. Come see me at Petco on weekends. ◄My name is Reggie and I am an absolute sweetheart. When I was rescued, I was 11 pounds lighter and very emaciated. I was also bald. Look at me now! I am breathtakingly beautiful. I am house-trained and not destructive at all. I don’t like being in a crate because I was locked in one in my previous home for almost my whole life. Boy, do I like this freedom I have now. I absolutely LOVE life. I am playful, fun and energetic. I do well with other dogs and am just an all around happy-go-lucky guy.

►Hi, my name is Chuck! I wasn't dealt the very best hand, but I'm making the best of it. I was found as a stray in bad shape. I have chronic stomatitis and I am also FIV positive. I also have lots and lots of love to give, but not enough people to share it with. I get along extremely well with other animals and I'm generally a very passive, calm cat. I love to show my love with head butts, purrs, and licks. I am being fostered in Wilmington. If you're willing to give me a chance, please call 301-943-4029. I have been neutered and am up to date on my vaccines. ►Hi! My name is Pelle. I'm a super-fun guy, and I'm a very handsome 6-month-old. Don't you think so? I have been neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.
►Hello. My name is Puddin'. I am super sweet and give kisses, but I do not do well with the excitement of an adoption fair. I do get along with other animals and small children. If you would like to meet me, please call so we can arrange a time to visit. ◄Where's Waldo? Here I am! I am a super-duper lap cat. I'm 6-months-old, neutered, microchipped and up to date on my shots. Call to adopt me or visit me on the weekends at the PetSmart in Monkey Junction!

My name is Missy and I am a wonderful mother cat who raised 7 kittens. Many were not even mine, but when the shelter kept sitting them in front of me, I took them in with open paws. Who could turn an orphaned kitten away? Now, several months later, all that is left is Bailey and myself. She is a solid black female who is now 7-months-old and we have been coming to adoption fairs ALL summer long. Every weekend we go back to our foster home empty handed. We don't have to be adopted together. It's ok if we are separated. We both need a home and can't afford to languish in foster care waiting to be adopted together. I am great with other cats and I love kids, but I don't like dogs at all. You may not even see Bailey in this picture, so look closely. Our black fur blends together and that makes it hard for us to get noticed. We are both super loveable and friendly. We love to snuggle and follow you around. Come see us at Petco on weekends. To know more about us or to inquire about the adoption process, call 910-392-0557 or visit us online at www.adoptanangel.net. We are sponsored by Perry Davis. Thank you!

I just want someone to walk with me, love me and take me for car rides. I’ve had all my shots, I’m spayed and I’m on heartworm prevention. We’re at Petsmart 7 days a week. ◄Hi, I'm Banana! I'm a 1-year-old Calico girl. I'm very shy but so very loving and sweet. With just a little bit of love and attention, the shyness quickly fades away. In fact, I will melt in your hands if you give me a full-body massage when I roll over. I'm known to be a cuddler, so I am the perfect kitty for you if you're looking for lots of love and purrs.
◄Hey, my name is Benjamin. I am a 9-month-old orange Tabby boy. I was rescued from animal control in Sampson County and stayed in a foster home for five months. I am more than ready for a wonderful forever home! I'm still too shy to come out of my cage, but I am incredibly gentle and sweet. Give me lots of love and canned food, and I'll be a very happy boy! ►Hey, I'm Mama! I'm a 1-year-old dilute Tortoiseshell girl. I am very affectionate and I love to follow people around. I will rub against your legs and sit on your lap as long as you will let me! I am shy with new people and animals at first, but I warm up pretty quickly to others, including cats and dogs. Don't let another day go by without a sweetheart like me in your life!
▲Hi, I'm Abigail! I'm an adorable 1-year-old, orange and white Tabby girl. I am a total sweetheart who loves attention. I'm very inquisitive, I love to play, and cuddling is pretty awesome, too. Sometimes I will follow you around and jump in your lap when I want to be petted! I'm a very social kitty who can provide you with a lot of love and entertainment. Come on over and meet me!
VOLUNTEERS and FOSTER HOMES NEEDED!!! Call 910-792-9014 for more information. ►Hi, I'm Fredrick! I am a 6-month-old black and white tuxedo boy. I am the most playful and outgoing kitten of all my litter mates. I love to play with my toys and then climb in your lap for a nap. I get along well with other cats. Please consider adopting me with my brother Franklin. He’s pictured below. We’ll be sure to bring double the love and double the fun to your family! ◄Hey, I'm Franklin! I’m a 6-month-old black and white tuxedo boy. I am the most cuddly kitty you will ever meet! I'm very playful and will chase anything that moves. I'm slightly shyer than my brother Fredrick (pictured above), but you don't have to do much to get me to break out of my shell. Come meet me and you'll see that I'm a sweet, handsome boy.

Hi, I'm Kit! I am one of a litter of eight kittens who were abandoned in a crate with our mama. The assistant manager of Pender Humane Society took all of us home to foster until there was room for us at the shelter. I am the last kitten left of the entire litter – Mama and my siblings have all found homes. I am a very sweet boy who greets everyone at the door when people come to visit. I love to play and I get along great with my other feline friends! I am a 1-year-old, neutered male and I’m vaccinated and litterbox-trained. Swing by the shelter to meet me and you will see just how friendly I am! For driving directions or more information, please call Pender Humane Society at 910-259-7022. Sponsored by Your Friends at Pender Humane Society’s Furry Friend's Re-sale Shop. We Care!!
My name is Tootsie and I’d really love to be your new best friend! I’m a 5-year-old Boxer mix girl who is simply a sweetie and I love attention. In my photo I am patiently sitting and waiting for that treat to be thrown to me! I was discovered at Animal Control and was taken in by the kind folks at Pender Humane Society. They also discovered that I have heartworms, so I’m currently being treated at no expense to my new family. If you like, I can finish up my heartworm treatment at home with you as my foster, and then my adoption can be finalized with you at the end of my treatment, which isn’t too far away. I do get along with other dogs but I haven’t yet met any cats. I very much hope that you’ll come meet me! Please call Pender Humane Society at 910-259-7022 for driving directions or any other info. I am sponsored in loving memory of Levi D.
Cat Tails Please call 910-253-1375 to adopt us! ►I’m Revlon (pictured on the left) and I had a tough start in the first 9-months of my life. My brother, Rex and I, along with the rest of our litter, were found sealed up in a cardboard box. We certainly needed time to adjust! Rex is exceptionally big for his age and very friendly and outgoing. I’m a timid but loving little girl who just wants to curl up on your lap. Give me some time to get to know you and my heart will be yours.
►Hello! I’m Khloe and I’m a big, 19-monthold girl and I want my own house and my own family where there are no dogs! They are smelly! I’ve been at Cat Tails my whole life. I know I get plenty of love here, but I’ve decided it’s time for my own place. P.S. I give kisses!
Are you dreaming of a White Christmas? We can help you out with that! All of us are white or almost all white and all of us would like to find our forever homes for the holidays. ◄I know my name, Bianca, means white, but if I were choosing, I think Feisty describes me much better. I’m only 5-monthsold. I love to play - especially hide and seek, and believe me, I will always find you! All of my siblings have been adopted and that means the best, me, was saved for last.
►I was born on Valentine’s Day…doesn’t that say enough? I’m a small, 10-month-old, very sweet girl named Diamond. I get along well with people and other cats, but dogs are kinda scary. I would be a great family cat as long as I have people who like to cuddle with me.
▲My name is Chalk and these are my sisters, Coconut and Cloud. We’ll be looking for our new homes just in time for the holidays. We’re sweet and friendly and really, really cute!

Romeo, Romeo wherefore art thou Romeo??? So call me old fashioned - I still believe in romance! I'm Juliet and you don't have to be Romeo you can be John, Steve, Bob, Harold or Carol - I don't care! I just want someone to love! I'm a sweet girl, approximately 9-months-old - and though I have calmed down a lot - I still have some kitten in me - so watch out if you wiggle your toes! Oh - I guess I should also mention that I am FIV positive - that just means I have an immune deficiency and have to be an INSIDE ONLY kitty - and I also have to be either your only kitty or in a house with another FIV positive kitty - since it can be spread to other cats (but NOT HUMANS OR DOGS) through biting. Please don't let my condition stop you from adopting me because I can live a long, healthy, happy life. Come visit me at SOAR and call 910-457-6340 with any questions! I am sponsored by SOAR in loving memory of all their wonderful, furry friends who made it safely to the Rainbow Bridge.
I’m Eli! I was found as a stray and made my way to Carolina Poodle Rescue. I don’t quite know how I ended up as a stray but I do know that I get along with everyone and everything. I greet people by wagging my tail and waiting politely for the person to pet me. I'm a Poodle and Cocker Spaniel mix, about 10-years-old. Now don't stop reading just because of my age! I have a heart of gold and I'm not that interested in toys but I LOVE food. I am very food motivated. I do great on a leash so if you are interested in a dog to stroll with, I am your guy! While I'm not a guard dog, I'm too sweet for that, I will let you know when someone arrives at the house. My favorite thing in the world is to snuggle with someone while they are reading or watching TV or a movie. If you want a fellow couch potato to hang out with you and share long, lazy nights - then look no further! My only special need is that my eyes are kind of dry so I have to have some eye drops. Other than that, I'm as easy as can be. If you’d like to meet me, please call 864-489-3559 or visit www.carolinapoodlerescue.org. I am sponsored by Top Toad in the Cotton Exchange in Downtown Wilmington, NC. Thank you!
New Hanover Sheriff’s Office Animal Services Unit Please call 910-798-7500 to adopt us! ►My name is Mark (A347601) and I’m a super cool guy. If you were to imagine all of the wonderful qualities that you’d like in a canine companion, I’m pretty sure I’ll have most if not all of them! At 10-years of age, I’ve mastered the art of love. And I’m smart, too. I know how to sit and stay, I’m housetrained, I’m leash-trained, I’m crate-trained, I’m good with kids, I like other dogs and I just want the chance to make someone feel loved. My owner surrendered me to the shelter because he works super long hours and it wasn’t fair to leave me alone like that. ◄I’m small but solid; svelte and loving. My name is Woody (A347420) and I’m a 1-year-old, black and white guy. I love hugs and cuddles and I’m a pro at snuggling up to you. I’m talkative and playful and I’ll bring oodles of joy into your life. Someone found me as a stray and brought me here to the safety of the shelter. I’m current on vaccinations and I’ve already been neutered so I can go home with you today!
►The GREATEST mistake you could ever make is to overlook me. Yes, I’m a 9-year-old black cat and that’s not something on the top of everyone’s list. My name is Black Cat (A347889) and my love is grand. When you come meet me at the shelter, there is a bazillion percent guarantee that I will make you feel loved and special. I am literally the most loving and friendly cat in the world. I will give you nuzzles and head butts and cuddles and purrs with ALL of my heart. I’m a Lap Cat who is homeless because the small human in my former family was allergic to me. Please acknowledge the value in my life and I’ll return the favor tenfold. ◄My name is Butterscotch (A347693) because I’m very sweet and my love is rich. I’m a petite, 1-year-old princess who loves to give head butts. I don’t have a single clue as to why my family surrendered me to the shelter but I might as well take advantage of the opportunity. I deserve a wonderful, forever home and that’s just what I’ve put on my vision board. I’ve also put fish flavored treats, feathered toys and a plush, comfy kitty bed on there, too. If you could help make all of my dreams come true, I promise to always make you feel loved and to make you smile.
►We are cute, cuddly kittens named Grace (A346751) and Frankie (A246748). We’re two girls who love each other and can be Grace Frankie adopted together or separately. At 2-months of age, we already know that life is about having fun and giving love. Someone found us as itty, bitty babies under their house and kept us inside until we were old enough to come to the shelter. We’re already spayed and current on age appropriate vaccinations. Come adopt one or both of us today.
►My family surrendered me to the shelter because they had too many cats to properly care for. Since I’m accustomed to being in a home, I’m finding shelter life not so enjoyable. When you come to see me, I might be hiding in the very back of my cage but just open up my door and I’ll be happy to make your aquaintance. My name is Miss Purr (A347653) and I’m a 2-yearold, short-haired, solid black girl. I’m sleek and sexy and I just want to be part of a loving family. Could you give me the gift of love? I’ll give it right back to you unconditionally.

I am super-lazy and really just need a bed and a bowl of food. I would be great in a home with someone elderly or someone who just wants a sleepy, easy, lazy girl to sleep at their feet. My foster mom said I am the best foster dog she has ever had and she has had MANY! For more info, call Adopt-An-ANGEL at 910-392-0557 or visit us online at www.adoptanangel.net.

My name is Fred and I am a 90 pound hunk of burnin’ love. I am overweight (probably should be about 75 pounds) so you could get some weight off me by walking me. I am a loveable goof once I get to know you. I do take a little bit to warm up to strangers, but once I know you I will love you. If I could pick my perfect home, I would love to live with a single woman or a nice couple. You can come meet me at Petco on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 5pm. Are you looking for a special, furry someone to move into your heart? My name is Lula and I would love to love you. My owners are senior citizens who have health problems and they are finding it difficult to care for me. I’m considered a special needs dog because I will be 15 in March. In 2014, I was diagnosed with Sudden Acquired Retinal Degeneration Syndrome (also known as SARDS), which caused immediate blindness in a matter of days. Also, back in 2008, I had an illness that caused my immune system to destroy platelets (they help my blood to clot). There haven’t been any reoccurrences, but my Vet keeps a check on it for me and avoids certain procedures which might trigger a new problem. I was always a typical Jack Russell Terrier; full of energy, loved everybody including other dogs and cats. Unfortunately, the blindness changed my life forever. I do ok with other dogs at doggy daycare or dogs while I’m out for a walk, but I don’t really interact with them much. I can find my way around the house, but MUST be on a leash outside. I like to take walks and I love to take naps (especially on someone's lap), and who doesn’t love to sunbathe. Naps in the sun are my favorite - whether it be inside on the carpet or outside on the grass in a securely fenced yard. I am house-trained and will bark when I need to go out to potty (but I occasionally might have an accident). I am a very special pooch who requires a very special person. If you’re the one for me, call 919-497-2091. I am sponsored in memory of Oscar and Madison Pour, two very special, life changing Jack Russell Terriers.
Onslow County Animal Services Call 910-937-1164 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to adopt! ◄My name is JB (33861908) and I’m just 2-years-old. I came to the shelter in a most unconventional way. After getting my tie-out caught up in an area waterway, I was stranded. That is, until an Onslow County Animal Services officer and a Good Samaritan came to my rescue. I’m a happy and handsome young Pit mix. I’m already neutered and waiting for a family to call my own. I tested positive for heartworms, so I will need a family dedicated to treating me and getting my heart healthy. I’ve not had the best of luck in the past, but I just know that my happily ever after is just around the corner! ►We’re Atticus (31960904) and Buckley (31960929), two 6-month-old brothers who arrived at the shelter as terrified little boys. We were extremely fearful of human contact, but we deserved a chance. Since then, we’ve been making great strides in our foster home and while we aren’t quite lovebugs with the humans just yet, we love to play and cuddle each other. I’m Atticus, an adorable orange Tabby and Buckley is a handsome black and white guy. We need a family who will be patient and gentle with us. We love to play with toys, nap on the windowsill and snuggle up together. We’re feisty, young kittens who have come a very long way. Now it’s time for us to continue our journey in a forever home!

►My name is Jewel (32007182) and I’ve been waiting a very long time for a family to love. As one of the longest residents here at the shelter, everyone thinks it is just about time that I find a forever home. I absolutely adore my people, and would be an amazing companion to any human. I can be selective when it comes to other dogs, so a home where I am the only dog would be ideal - or a meet and greet is highly recommended. ►I’m Professor Bonesworth (33919544)! How a handsome and happy Hound boy like me has not found happiness is quite a mystery. I’m such a kind and gentle pup. If you’re looking for a loving and loyal companion, then look no further than me, Professor Bonesworth! I’m terrific with other dogs, seem to love all humans and enjoy a car ride as well. I’m very fond of ear scratches and tummy rubs, too. I’m currently available for adoption through Onslow County Animal Services! ►My name is Lylah (33930870) and I’m a 4-year-old, beautiful Weimaraner mix. Though I’m a bit out of my puppy years, I am full of energy and a curious young girl. I’m a bit timid on first meeting, but I’ll warm up given just a little time. I would do well in a home with room to run and with a family who will be patient while I’m settling in. I’m such a lovely, young girl who deserves a place to call home. Please adopt me today.

Hello, I'm Tank. I'm a 2-year-old, male Boxer mix and I've been with Carolina Boxer Rescue since I was 3-months old. I'm a sweet boy who gets along well with children and cats. I love playing with other larger dogs but show too much interest in smaller dogs under 5 pounds. I'm cautious when I meet new people, but once I quickly determine that I can trust you, I'm a real love-bug. I’m housetrained and cratetrained. PAW’S Place Please call 910-845-7297 to adopt us! ◄I go by Rebel, but I am quite well-behaved! I love to romp and run with other dogs. I’m a Labrador mix boy, about 60 pounds, and I’m just under a year old. I'm affectionate, playful, and very, very friendly. I used to live in a home and am already house- trained. I’ll be a great family dog so hurry on over to the shelter and adopt me today, please!
▲I’m Ms. Marley, a house-trained gal of 9-years. I'm about 50 pounds and a Foxhound mix. I was adopted from Paws Place a few months ago, but unfortunately the more established dog of the house did not welcome my arrival. I have many friends at Paws Place and play so nicely. I mostly enjoy getting love from people, though. Visit me!
(Call for a pre-adoption application and adoption fee info.)
◄I'm Dexter the Dachshund! I'm about 6 or 7-yearsold with a bright personality and I’m very eager to please. I ride low to the ground and weigh only 16 pounds. Do you need a friend to take on a stroll or a buddy to sit in your lap? Perhaps I'm your guy! I’m neutered, vaccinated, on heartworm prevention, and I had a dental cleaning. I likely have poor vision in one eye, but that just gives me character! ◄Hi, I'm Casper! Maybe you recognize me as being featured several times in this magazine. I've lived at Paws Place for close to five years! I'm about 25 pounds and 6-years-old. I had a tough home life before I came to Paws Place and I am slowly learning that people offer kindness and affection. I'm friends with a large play group of dogs and would love to join a home with another dog who I could learn from. I'm becoming braver and enjoying our Meet and Greet events. If you have a patient, loving home, then what are you waiting for? Won’t you please give me a chance?
◄I'm Kiwi, the cutest puppy girl with an adorable name. I have short legs and a long body. I'm 4-months-old and weigh 15 pounds. My name is Logan and I’m a young, energetic, 45 pound boy who was born in October 2015. I’m neutered, housetrained and cratetrained. I walk well on a leash, but need to have a fenced yard so I can run and play freely. My parents lived in a salvage yard and that is where I was born. Sadly, my puppyhood was not in a home with a family so I was not socialized with people until coming into foster. I am shy and fearful of new people so I would do best with kids over 10-years of age. I’m looking for a family who has the time and patience to continue working on my socialization and to help me overcome my insecurities. Once you get to know me, you will see how sweet and affectionate I can be. I love playing with other dogs and will need to have at least one, if not more, canine siblings to set an example and help me continue to build up my confidence. I had a rough start in life, but I’m ready to blossom with the love and encouragement from the right family. Could it be yours? Please contact my Echo Dogs foster mom at 910-200-4782 or learn more about me at www.echodogs.org. I am sponsored by the Ocean Grill and Tiki Bar in Carolina Beach. Thank you!

Hello friends! My name is Mack (A092202). I’m a 1½-year-old boy, already neutered, who is large in size and even larger in personality! I enjoy meeting new people and seeking out new adventures. I am a Labrador/Shepherd mix and, if I must say so myself, I have the best attributes of both breeds. I’d love to be your very best friend, one who is there to greet you in the morning, cuddle with you at night, comfort you when you’re feeling down, and celebrate with you when you’re feeling happy. Could you use a friend like that? My adoption fee includes a physical examination, heartworm test and rabies vaccination. For driving directions or more info, please call Brunswick County Sheriff’s Animal Protective Services at 910-754-8204.
Sam is my name and being sweet is my game! I'm an ol' Hound dog who was adopted from Paws Place in 2008, but I just came back as my parents fell ill. I'm a favorite of the volunteers. I play nicely with other dogs and am always up for a walk. I am a big boy who’s 11-years-old and I want to reside in a home with a new family. Please come see me. You'll be glad you did! I'll be no trouble at all. For driving directions or adoption information, please call Paws Place at 910-845-7297.

Pender Humane Society Please call 910-259-7022 to adopt us! ◄Hi, I’m Brody! Don’t be fooled by this serious expression I’m the sweetest little boy with the greatest personality! At just 2-years-old, I’m a Boxer mix who loves people. I know simple commands like sit and stay and I walk great on a leash. Just take me outside to play and you’ll see my smile! I’m somewhat of a couch potato and enjoy laying in my bed and chewing on bones, if someone would just give me one or two more! I’m also in excellent health. Hurry over and meet me!
◄I’m an absolutely gorgeous Tortoiseshell girl named Luna! When my human mom passed away, I was brought to the shelter. I came from a home with lots of other cats and dogs and would cuddle up with one of the dogs to sleep. I am a very friendly and affectionate girl who loves to play with toys. I am also spayed, vaccinated, litterboxtrained and I was born mid-September 2014. A sweet girl like me deserves a person or family to love. Won’t you please visit and get to know me? I’m simply a darling. Sebastian
▲Kittens, Kittens, Kittens! We are bottled-fed babies, just 7-weeks-old, and we love to be held and cuddled! I’m Sebastian, an orange Tabby boy. I was once the runt of the litter but I’m a food hound so I’ve caught up to my siblings in size and attitude. I like toys but I’ll run for food! Tabatha is a long-haired Torti and the most adventurous. She loves to find new toys and places to explore. Rascal, a brown Tabby boy, is Tabatha’s exploration partner. We’re all purry darlings, so hurry over and make your pick! Tori
▲Hello, dear friends, my name is Chip and I am a happy, happy boy! I bet you could tell that by my cheerful expression. I’m a 1-year-old Lab/Shepherd mix who loves to play, especially with toys. My favorite toys are the ones that make noise! I am learning to sit and stay and, as you can see from my photo, I am getting quite good at it! As for my health, it’s top notch. I’m neutered, vaccinated and on heartworm prevention. I seem to get along with everyone and I don’t even mind cats. Am I a perfect family companion or what?
▲Achingly-adorable puppies are right here for you! Be prepared for your heart to be melted with one puppy cuddle and one whiff of our delicious puppy breath! We are Tori, Amber and Tyson (two girls and a boy), just 7-weeks-old, with Shepherd-colored coats and Boxer-ish faces! We love everyone we meet and enjoy being picked up and cuddled. We love to wrestle, nap and eat, too! Which one of us are you ready to bring home?

Hi, I’m Wrigley! I am a loveable, playful 2-yearold Jack Russell living in Wilmington with my foster Jack siblings. I am neutered and up to date on my vaccines. When I am not sleeping all snuggled up to my foster mom, I am wrestling with the other Jack Russells here (both boys and girls). I am house-trained and crate-trained. They say I am all legs and attract pets and kisses wherever I go. I can be a little skittish, but am perfect in the car and happy to go on walks! If you are looking for a kid who will always keep you laughing, that's me, Wrigley! To adopt me, please call Russell Rescue Inc. - Carolinas at 910-821-3504 to leave a message or email email@example.com. You can also visit us online at www.russellrescue.com. I am sponsored in memory of Oscar and Madison Pour, two very special, life changing Jack Russell Terriers. What do you get when you cross a Basset and a Lab? You get us! My name is Cora and I act like a Basset all day long and so does my bestie, Chloe (who is a little taller than me)! We have the short stature like a Basset Hound and that wonderful personality of both a Basset and Lab! We are a perfectly matched set with a bit of a hard luck story. Both of us were adopted then dumped in a shelter when our humans no longer wanted us. We just don't understand what we did wrong! All we wanted is to love our humans and please them. So, we are now looking for a new home. We are very bonded at 5 to 9-years of age, so we really need to be adopted together. We love to play, love to walk, and we get along with other dogs! I get a little nervous with lots of people coming and going, but Chloe takes everything in stride. We are both very smart, obedient, house-trained and listen to commands our foster mom gives us. We ride well in the car and love everyone and every dog we have met so far. Wouldn’t we be a great set of twins for your perfect loving home? If you are interested, please call Carolina Basset Hound Rescue at 888-909-2387 or visit our website at www.cbhr.com. Also, we are always short on foster homes! If you have ever thought about fostering, please contact us for more details. We are sponsored in appreciation of everyone who has rescued a homeless animal.
R.A.C.E. (Rescue Animals Community Effort) Please call 910-579-0407 to adopt us! ►Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all. My name is Destiny and, like Boo, I was pulled from the shelter the day I gave birth to six little boys and one little girl. They are all in forever homes now so it is my turn. I am a standard Dachshund and the perfect house dog. I’m completely house-trained and I don't chew. I love to play with other dogs or just hang out with you in the house. I do have heartworms but R.A.C.E. will pay all my expenses for that. So, as they say, “I'll be waiting.”
◄Dear Santa, please let me be adopted and living in my new forever home for the holidays. My name is Skipper and I am a handsome, soft Cocker Maltese mix. Don't let my age fool you. Even though I am 12, I sure don’t look or act like it. My favorite thing to do is walk - I can go forever. The doctor says I am healthy, I am completely vetted and I just had my teeth cleaned. I love to play with other dogs and I'm fine with cats. Come and get me!
◄HO! HO! HO! My name is Bentley and I am a 6-year-old male grey and white Shih Tzu. I was surrendered to R.A.C.E. because my owner died. I am good with other dogs and cats. I was pretty matted when I arrived but I have been bathed, groomed and I feel so much better. I have also been completely vetted so I am good to go. All I want is for Santa to bring me my forever home for Christmas, please!!! Call today to see me. ►Hello there, my name is Duncan and I am a 9-year-old, black and white male Shih-Tzu. I am very healthy except I do have some common Shih Tzu ailments. I have dry eye and will need drops in my eyes for life. I also need to be on a hypoallergenic diet for my skin. I love playing with other dogs and taking walks. If you will allow me to, I will also cuddle with you on the couch. Thank you for reading about me, I hope you will call R.A.C.E. and come see me.
►Man, am I not the cutest little girl you have ever seen? Let me introduce myself. My name is Lucy and I am a Chihuahua mixed with Rat Terrier. I am only 1 to 2-years-old and I do well with dogs, cats and older kids. I am a little shy at first, but I get over it pretty quickly. I am active and I also like to snuggle. I would love nothing more for Christmas than my forever home. Call today. ►Hi, my name is Boo. I am a very sweet Puggle who was taken out of the shelter just before I delivered 8 beautiful puppies. They are now weaned and will be available for adoption next month. I weigh 15 pounds and am housetrained, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. I do have heartworms but have started my treatment and R.A.C.E. will completely pay for it. I am such an awesome dog and I do love to play with other dogs and take long walks. Please call for an appointment to meet me.

Hi people. My name is Kaiser (A347566) and I’m a Rottweiler and Husky mixed boy. At 3years of age, I found myself straying and looking for love. That’s why I’m here at the shelter now - hoping you’ll come adopt me. I’m a very intelligent guy who knows how to sit, shake and lay down on command. I’m loving, I take treats gently from your fingers and I enjoy a good belly rub. I’m looking for a forever home with dog lovers and a fenced yard to play in. My ideal environment would be free of cats and small children. I’m already neutered, vaccinated and leash-trained. Let’s get this commitment to each other inked today. Please call New Hanover Sheriff’s Office Animal Services at 910-798-7500 so we can begin our life together. I am sponsored in loving memory of Dick Parrott.
SOAR (Southport Oak Island Animal Rescue) Please call 910-457-6340 to adopt us! ◄Looking for a new bestie?? Then we need to meet! I'm Jake, an 8-month-old, 40 pound Lab mix with lots of energy and lots of love! The volunteers say I'm a smart boy and I'm doing great with my leash and agility training. I definitely need a fenced-in yard - but I also need a lap - or a big comfy bed - to snuggle up and keep you warm this winter. Can't wait to meet you in the play yard!
◄I may be known around here as Tommy II - but I'm as one and only as they come! My birthday was in October and I turned a year old. I'm a fluffy, orange, long-haired boy with lots of personality and lots of love to give. I'm up to date on my shots, neutered and litterbox-trained and all I need now is a home of my own! I’m waiting to drop the II and be your Tommy #1! ►Who doesn't want a Versace?? And I can be yours!! I’ll be way less expensive, too. I'm Versace, but my friends call me Vee. I just turned 1-year-old in September, right before I came to SOAR. I'm a sweet girl who loves to be petted and rubbed. I currently live in the open cat room with six other cats and have no problems getting along with any of them. I’m also spayed, vaccinated and litterbox-trained. So I hope you’ll be finding a Versace under your tree this Christmas!
►If you are looking for a pretty, soft, quiet little girl - look no further than ME! I'm Charlotte, a 7-month-old sweetheart just waiting for my forever home! I was a little shy and reserved when I got to SOAR but, with the love and affection I have received from the volunteers, my eyes have been opened to the wonderfulness of pets and head rubs! I currently live in the open cat area with about six other cats and I have no problem getting along with any of them. See you soon!
►Can you say CUTE? Look it up in the dictionary and my picture should be right there! My name is Sophie and I'm about 6-months-old. I was found as a stray and had not been eating as much as I should - so I'm still a little on the underweight side - about 18 pounds to be exact. I'm a Treeing Walker Hound mix with so much love in my heart. So much love that I can get a little excited when I see you which leads to some jumping ok, a lot of jumping. But the volunteers at SOAR are working very hard with me on my introduction skills as well as my leash-walking. I’m sure that I’m the perfect little girl for you!
►Buddy?? Did somebody say they needed a Buddy?? Well, here I am!!! My name is Buddy and, along with being sweet and smart, I am as handsome as they come!!! The volunteers tell me I have the most beautiful gold eyes. I also love to snuggle with you and belly rubs are one of my favorite things in the whole wide world. I will turn a year old in January 2017 and I hope to spend my first birthday in my very own forever home!

I’m very sweet and gentle, but I’m also a bit timid and am looking for a family who will let me take things slow. I get along well with other dogs and people and I’ve really come out of my shell since I’ve been with C.A.R.E. If you are interested in making a love connection with me, please call 910-256-2624. It's me, Fig! I'm the biggest puppy in the litter named after fruits here at Paws Place. I'm a little boy, not quite 4-monthsold, and I tip the scales at 22 pounds. I am tall, dark, and handsome with a touch of a wavy coat. I was taken from my mom when I was too young and put up for ‘sale’ by someone. Animal Services came to my rescue and took me and my siblings. We've been thriving at Paws Place and now I'm ready for a home! I'm neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and current on vaccines. Let's meet! If you’ve got questions or need driving directions, call my friends at 910-845-7297. I am sponsored in loving memory of Grace Harrington.

The Power of 10 is Greater Would you be one of 10? Canines for Service launched a “Power of 10” fundraising campaign on September 1, 2016. The goal of the 100-day initiative is to raise $60,000 – the cost to train and partner two service dogs. Service dogs change a persons’ life with the gift of independence. The Power of 10 starts with 10 supporters donating 10 dollars each to Canines for Service. They, in turn, ask ten of their friends to do the same, who then ask ten more friends, creating a powerful wave of support and fundraising dollars. Canines for Service operates from a 5,000 sq. ft. of space on Old Dairy Road. The long awaited expansion has provided the opportunity to initiate a Veterans internship program teaching Veterans new job skills learning how to train service dogs for Veterans with disabilities. In the upcoming months, the program will expand again to offer a fee based learning opportunity for service dog training. “Since bringing the Canines for Veterans program back to Wilmington in June 2015, we had been stretched to maximum capacity with little room for service dog training or to increase the number of dogs in training, offer more pet therapy classes and the aspects of daily business”, says Rick Hairston, President and CEO. “Now, the service dog training has the much needed space to achieve our mission, we can bring more dogs in to train and have already grown with the intern program.” For more information, please call 910-362-8181, send an email to email@example.com, or visit www.caninesforservice.org/powerrof10.

URGENT, URGENT! My Time Is Running Out!
URGENT, URGENT! My Time Is Running Out!
I’m a lovely, friendly and happy girl named Sabrina (A018259) and I hope to soon see your face at my kennel door! At just 4-years-old, I’m a Redbone Hound mix who is already spayed. I am playful and friendly to other dogs, so if you have a dog I bet I could be a great companion for him or her, as well as you! I do enjoy chasing chickens, so I would not be a good fit for a home with those. I’m looking forward to going on walks in the neighborhood and cuddling with you on the couch. We could have a great life together. But please hurry! You see, dogs arrive every day and there’s just not enough room for us all. The shelter is open 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday, Noon to 4pm on Saturday and 1pm to 4pm on Sundays. For info, call Pender County Animal Shelter at 910-259-1484 or email email@example.com. I’ll be waiting right here for you!
If I could use the computer, this would be my dating profile pic. And the headline would say, “Ready for some belly rubs?” Unfortunately, I will have to rely on the editors of this magazine to facilitate my love connection. And there will be love, have no doubt! My name is Forrest (A023239) and I’m a 3-year-old tri-colored Treeing Walker Hound. I’m quiet, but the passion I have for you will be deafening! I’m submissive, but my loyalty is powerful. So you see, I am a man of many charms, and it’s all just sitting here, waiting for you at this shelter. But please hurry! Dogs arrive every day and there’s just not enough room for us all. If you need directions to the shelter, please call Pender County Animal Shelter at 910-259-1484 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Hours are 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday, Noon to 4pm on Saturday and 1pm to 4pm on Sundays. May this be the beginning of a very long and happy romance!

My name is Beasley. I’m an 8-yearold Great Dane/Doberman mix who weighs in at a svelte 90 pounds. I am looking for a forever home with calmer dogs and older children, or a home with just adults who will respect an old man’s space. I am looking for a calm, structured environment for me to live out my golden years. Since I’m an older gentleman, I love to sleep a lot on a comfy dog bed. I also love to go on walks, hikes, and runs and do great on a leash when exercising. When I’m not sleeping or on walks, I love dismantling plush squeaky toys. I am a master attention seeker who loves to cuddle! Please send an email to email@example.com for an adoption application, call 704-584-9257 or visit www.greatdanefriends.com.
My name is Emma! I can't remember my age and my old family forgot to tell the shelter when they dropped me off but I think I might be about 4-yearsold. I cannot wait to be back in a home with a family - hopefully one that I get to keep forever. You can see by my picture that I am anxiously awaiting your arrival. I am a Velcro dog and I love being around my people, but I get along with dogs as well. I do like to be the "top dog" in the house so I would probably do best with fur-brothers more than sisters. I like to play and am energetic. I am excited to meet you and will be counting down the minutes until I can go home. To adopt me, call 910-232-5910 or visit www.tarheelweimrescue.org.

My name is Ivy and I'm a happy girl who is eager to learn new things. I enjoy when my foster family loves on me and plays with me. Toys are my favorite things and I love to play fetch the wubba. I also love my crate and go in there with no problem. I even go in there to hang out sometimes when I don't have to. It's like my own little mini house. I go outside for all my bathroom breaks and haven’t had any accidents. I’ve learned ‘sit’ and ‘down’ in just a couple weeks and I’ll do anything for a treat! CAROLINA BOXER RESCUE
SCHNAUZER RESCUE OF THE CAROLINAS
My name is Layla and I’m a very smart 3-year-old Brindle girl with a sweet personality. I love to be around people, I’m kid-friendly and I play with dogs of any size or gender. I impressed my foster mom when I arrived because I went in the kennel just by her pointing to my crate. I take treats gently and could be so happy in a home with or without other dogs. I’m a young, healthy, sweet, friendly and waiting for my forever family. Visit www.carolinaboxerrescue.org for info on adopting or fostering. Please call 910-799-5638 or email email@example.com to adopt me.
I’m Sammie, a 1-year-old gray and white MiniSchnauzer girl who weighs 13 pounds. I came from an abusive situation and will need much TLC because I am not yet house-trained or leash-trained, but I’m microchipped, heartworm negative, vaccinated and spayed. I am very sweet and loving, but still a little shy. I need someone to adopt me who understands traumatized Schnauzers - could that be you? To read more about me, visit www.schnauzerrescueofthecarolinas.org. Call 919-7237145 if you need an application mailed or faxed. P.S. Mention this ad and get a $50 discount on my adoption donation!

Hi, I'm Biscuits! I'm a 7-month-old brown Tabby boy with spots and stripes and super-soft fur. I was found as a stray after Hurricane Matthew. They call me Biscuits because I love making biscuits when I'm happy. I'm so laid-back and easy-going and will snuggle with you. I get along with other cats and love people. Want a new friend with a really chill vibe and a lot of love to give? If that's your type, you won't regret having me around. Meet me at the C.A.T. Adoption Center at Petsmart on New Centre Drive, or call Cat Adoption Team at 910-792-9014 for adoption information.
