BrakeStructure

The brake'sfixed core (1) and coil (2) are relativeto the armature(4) fixed with installationscrewsto the bracket(15) on the motor'scounter-load side.Brakingspring(3) is mountedon the fixedcore (1).The disc (5) is installedon the motorshaft (16)via the hub (10).Stoppingbolt (6) fixesthe brakeplate(7) with the nut (8) that is usedto adjustthe gap (g) betweenthe armature(4) and fixed core (1). The brake cover (11) is fixed to the brake plate (7) with the screw to protectbrake body from water.O-ring(12) betweenbrakecover(11) and fixedcore (1) preventdrippingwaterfrom seepinginsidethe brake.V-ring (13) and fringer(14) those rotatewith shaft shake the water drippingoff beforeseepinginsidethe brake and motor.

Brakeoperation Spring back force RELEASINGOPERATION When electriccurrentis suppliedto the coil(2), the electro-magnetic force is occurred.This eftectsthe armature(4)overcomespressingforce of brakingspring(3) so the armature(4)is attractedto the fixed core(1). The gap(g)is disappearedand a clearanceis formed betweenthe armature(4)and disc(S),freeing the disc(S)and releasingthe brake.In this state, the motorshaft(16)can be rotated. BRAKINGOPERATION When the electriccurrentto the coil(2)is shut off, force.The armature(4)is there is not electromagnetic releasedand pressedback by force of brakingspring(3). The armature(4)pressesthe disc(S)againstbrakeplate(7) surfaceand brakingare appliedwith frictionaltorque. In this manner,when the fixed core(1)is in the non-excited state,the brake is alwaysapplied.
