Freiheit Schwarzkanal is a community in the Treptow district in Berlin. As self sufficient and set-off from capitalism as possible. Inhabited by “rebels and queers” as they discribe themselfes, all with a anti-capitalist conviction and part of a wider network of autonomous spaces, squats and Wagenplatzs in Berlin, Europe and beyond. Like many other community’s like this one, SchwarzerKanal is attempting to build their own structures from the grassroots. Arjen Poort
