& Poetry Now 2012 The Mountains to Sea dlr Book Festival takes place from 4-9 Sept and will present the very best of Irish and international writers reading from their work. This year from overseas we have Elizabeth Strout, Daniel Woodrell, Philippa Gregory, Howard Jacobson, and Gerbrand Bakker, David Mitchell and many more. Irish writers include John Banville and Kevin Barry.  

There is a fantastic array of events for families and schools, including Derek Landy and Robert Muchamore. And for TV buffs, we have the writers of the hugely popular Borgen and Mad Men telling us what it takes to make it in TV writing.

Poetry Now is incorporated into the festival and includes James Fenton and Paula Meehan amongst others.

Formed in 1998, the Celtic Choristers is a well regarded Male-Voice choir based in St Mary’s College, Rathmines, Dublin.

The Choir have performed in many prestigious venues nationwide including Áras an Uachtaráin for President McAleese.

Through the musical direction of Ethel Glancy, their repertoire comprises many diverse musical styles including religious, operatic and modern classics.
