aen channel, Lina Jungergård was masked and wearing an orange overall moved in and out of visibility, brandishing a long spade. The weapon went on threatening an invisible victim… or the viewer. In deedee4000 channel, Deej Fabyc set up a still life with two mannequins in an old fashioned bedroom, one standing up, wearing only a jacket and a hat, her back to the cam, the other laying naked in bed, her body only half visible. Nothing else happened in the visual field but female shouts interrupted the scene.
Other actions supported the Webcam Operators’ play with the camera and control over the spectator’s gaze through an empowered sight. In Alfazema channel (Maria Lusitano), an extreme close-up of fingers caressed the calix of a pomegranate; as time unfolded, the pomegranate was opened and the seeds spread into Alfazema’s eyes. Anne Marte’s channel (Anne Marte Overaa) presented a wide-angle view of her living room where she was absorbed in daily routine of house cleaning and removing festive decorations from a large Christmas tree. Eventually she dragged the tree across the room and threw it out of the window (to applause of the audience that had been gathered around her channel). In deMontesse’s channel, Aaron de Montesse performed an act of transsexual dragging for the audience in real time.
