t-shirt design
My t-shirt design depicts a panda bear in a joyful dancing stance. I wanted to go for a vibrant, and eye catching design with the use of bold colours. It’s actually quite psychedelic. some ideas to work off of.
For the background I was inspired by Iris Van Herpen’s use of layering to create a sense of symmetrical illusion and depth with her 3D printing avant grade fashion designs. I’ve always been fond of tribal patterns and spirituality therefore with the patterned sleeves, Mara Hoffman’s extensive use of ethnically rich tribal patterns gave me to work off of.
My target audience is for the free spirited beings, with the colour tone and the overall look and feel of the design, it is most suited for a female in her teens treading towards early twenties.
