RESIDENTIAL TOWER BUENOS AIRES ARGENTINA

is a prototype and concept for a high rise residential tower. The building consists of a total of 96 apartments, varying between 1, 2, or 3 bedrooms. Each apartment has a privately owned patio as an exterior expansion of the living and dining room areas, as opposed to a balcony, the most common and sometimes dangerous element added to a building in Buenos Aires. Every unit is organized around this exterior space,

considered the heart of the unit, in order to provide the tenants with a natural evironment within an urban setting. Each side of the building has an appropriate solar protection response for the position of the sun throughout the day.

RESIDENTIAL APARTMENTS IN OLIVOS BUENOS AIRES ARGENTINA The main challenge for this residential project was the response to and ideas generated from the urban impact in a low rise and mixed used area of Buenos Aires' suburbs. The front building consists of four apartments above a see-through first floor, and is aligned in height with neighbor buildings to conform with the overall street's landscape. The lower level is also an archway to the main, taller, and isolated building at the back of

the property. This is articulated by a shared public court, long enough to be the separation between the two buildings and also the proper scale for an entrance or front yard to the rear building, keeping it away from the busy street. At the same time, all the views from each apartment allow the resident to have North/South views and most of them with views of the RĂ­o de la Plata ("Silver River").

BIOTECHNOLOGY SCHOOL AT UNIVERSITY CAMPUS PAYSANDĂš - URUGUAY

The buildings assigned to me to further develop from a Master Plan continue with the idea of an exterior space which organizes and gives a structure and separation in between departments/areas. However, the challenge and "answer to a problem" was the technical one regarding the annual floods and the

location in the muddy area of the port. The buildings are considered platforms on the water and will move vertically along fixed posts/piles, so as to rise and fall with the fluctuating river level.

REDEVELOPMENT OF SPACES - 25 DE MAYO HIGHWAY

New commercial, administrative, and recreational areas are incorporated at the residual spaces under the highway. By San Juan Ave., I propose new high residential buildings and diversity of uses (commercial and administrative) at Jujuy and Entre RĂ­os intersection. At the same time, the proposal adds a raised metropolitan transportation by the highway. This will achieve the strengthening of local centralities, revitalizing spaces by the highway, minimizing the urban barrier, and reconnecting North and South areas.
