elcome to the February 2010 issue of The Real Estate Magazine and if you are visiting, welcome to the Wood River Valley.

As I grow older I find that it takes less to make me happy or content, or, maybe I’m just not that complicated. If I were to make a list of the things in my life I love most, of course, at the top of that list would be my husband, next would be our children and our grandchildren. Friends would follow grandchildren, my husband’s cooking would follow friends. I would have to say our dogs (they may be before my husband’s cooking) would be near the top of that list. I love my dogs and the fun, tenderness, and eternal patience they bring to almost every day. (I can’t always say that about the kids.) After the important stuff at the top of the list I would have to include a good book, a needlepoint canvas to work on, Channel No. 5 perfume, scented soaps from Belissimo, a cozy chair and throw by a dancing fireplace and a blank piece of writing paper. OMG! I almost forgot dark chocolate. (Hopefully my husband picks up this magazine and reads this Valentine’s Day list I just coincidentally made out for him).

February is the month of love and caring and we are fortunate to live in an area that is so continuously generous. In our valley we raise money so kids can ski, we raise funds so kids can have a wish come true. We raise money so we can have first class theatre and a shelter for lost and abandoned dogs. We raise money so we can distribute food and toys during the holidays, and so much more. The list is really endless to what you and I and our neighbors all do to make life better for those around us who are less fortunate.
