SIGNING UP A POPFLY ACCOUNT 1. Go to www.popfly.com 2. Follow the screenshots below:

CREATING YOUR FIRST MASHUP 1. We will create an application that will retrieve pictures from Flickr and map it onto VirtualEarth 2. Follow the screenshots below.

Step 1: Click ‘Create’ and choose ‘Mashup’

Step 9: Click on‘Missing Key ’ Step 10: Enter the Flickr key to be 7a92622e248ab31fea4031778f953ca6

Step 11: The flickr box shows that the key is valid

Step 12: To send data from Flickr to VirtualEarth click the blue circle and drag it to the VirtualEarth box

Step 13: Click ‘Run’ to run the mashup application

EXERCISE 1 1. How many pictures are displayed in the mashup created above? Write your answer in the box below.

2. Change the number of pictures retrieved from Flickr that are being displayed onto VirtualEarth to be 50 mountain pictures. Hint:
