Logging into the NLMS In order to access the National Learning Management System (NLMS) you need to open Microsoft Internet Explorer. This will open the Pennine Acute NHS Hospitals Trust homepage. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the Training and Development link as shown here.
You will then see the Training and Development page. Select E-Learning from the blue menu on the left-hand side of the screen as shown here.
You will now be presented with the E-Learning page. This page will have any known issues or problems highlighted and therefore it should be your first port of call when experiencing any problems with the NLMS. To log-in:
Click this button if you have been given a username and password.
Click this button if you have a Smart Card
If you have clicked the Username and password access button you will now be presented with a login screen. Fill in your login details and click the Login button. Please be aware that the password is case sensitive.
If you have any problems with your login details please contact the ESR Bureau on 0161 720 2834.
Once you have successfully logged in: â€˘ Select the 352 e-Learning User link. â€˘ Select the e-Learning link that appears.
The NLMS window will now take over your whole screen and you will be unable to see the task bar that usually runs across the bottom of the screen. If you need to switch to another window/task whilst using the NLMS you can press the <Alt> key (keeping it pressed), then use the <Tab> key (shown here) to choose the program you would like to switch to.
You will now be able to see all the learning paths that you have been subscribed to. You will also be able to see any courses (including taught sessions) that you have been enrolled on in the lower half of the screen.
