We continue to analyze our experiences with healthcare to identify trends and derive Key Performance Targets (KPTs) to inform priority areas for change from the patient perspective. We created an initial set of KPTs for primary and acute care settings that can result in measurable improvements to our experiences.

We are funded for a five-year demonstration project to explore effective ways of including patients in health research to ensure investment that reflects patient and caregiver priorities. We have connected patients with health research teams who together are exploring the patients’ role in their respective research plans.

Capacity | We will develop our network of patient partners to bring our voice to more conversations in healthcare.

Reach | We will support partnerships in every province, focusing on engaging Canada’s rural areas and culturally diverse communities. Awareness | We will become a trusted source for the patient voice to ensure our representation in national conversations that put patients first.
