SUMMER CAMP FOR STUDENTS
Summer Camp at Lokmanya Gurukul School, Dombivli where weconducted2activitiesforthe students between 6th to 9th std. Activity 1 was cooking Khichadiusingsolarcookers.and 2nd activity was 'How to sow seeds in the open ground and in pot'aswell.
For both the activities both indoor and outdoor sessions were conducted. Indoor session included a PPT presentation on both topics. Outdoor sessions included actual installationofSolarcookerandobservingthe materialsuitableforeatingandpreparingthe soil, actual sowing of the seeds and watering them.

Earth Day
Nature trail was organized for Junior CollegeofAnandVishwasGurukulon15th
April 2023 at Manpada Nature Introduction Centre, Thane. This nature trail was guided by Naturalist Mrs. Paunima Shirgaonkar. A total of 25 studentsand3facultymembersofAnand Vishwas Gurukul were present for nature trail. During the nature trail Mrs. Shirgaonkar provided information about variousanimalsandplants.
Brahmumbai Municipal Corporation organized a nature trail at Nirvana Garden, Powai on 16th April for all nature lovers. Shri. Somnath Kangralkar (botanist) and naturalist Poornima Shirgaonkar leaded the trail and explained the importance of'Whydoweneedenvironment.'

At Kalyan, Ramabai Ambedkar Udyan, Awareness session regarding how to conserve natural resources for a Ladies Laughter club members on 21st Aprilat7am.
AnawarenesscampaignatMrutyunjayGarden, Dombivli west was organized on 23rd April 2023. Dr. Sanjay Joshi gave a valuable message to Invest in Our Planet. Mrs. Vidya Sawant from Municipal Corporation's Pollution Control Department was also gave an important advise to the public that if they have started their sewage treatment plants, theyshouldseefromtimetotimetomaintain cleanliness
Environment Vigilance Board and Thane MunicipalCorporationjointlyorganizedand celebratedVasundharaDayonApriL22nd.
Importance of environment was delivered by Somnath Kangralkar, Medha Karkhanis and Pournima Shirgaonkar. Everyone took anoath“MyVasundharaMyResponsibility” andvowedtoconserveVasundhara.

Nature Summer Experience Camp
On 20th & 21st April a two day Nature Experience Camp was organized at Nisargayan for students in and around Mamnoli region. Environmental awareness sessions were conducted for the students during the camp. It was a two day residential camp filled with fun activitiesandgames.
Honeybee Keeping Workshop
The3rdhoneybeekeepingworkshopwas organized on 8th April at Nisargayan. The session was conducted by Mr.SubhashIsamewhereheguidedthe public about the techniques used in honeybeekeepingandalsoshared theimportanceofhoneybees intheenvironment.

Clean up drive took place at Saatpul Jetty, Dombivli east. 24 volunteers participated in this activity and we were able to pick up 1500 kg of mixedwastefromthesite withthehelpofKDMC.
