Cables and Chains for Off-road Use

roX Racing Parts specializes in high quality components for off-road motorcycles, including cables and chains that increase performance and durability.
ProX’s throttle and clutch cables are manufactured to exact OEM specifications, and each one meets or exceeds OEM quality. All cables have a pre-lubricated nylon inner sleeve for smooth operation and long life, as well as a tightly coiled inner casing for low compression. The black PVC outer jacket is designed for maximum flexibility and durability. Cables arrive with all necessary mounting hardware, and the wire ends are bird caged prior to terminal casting to provide superior pullout resistance. Every ProX throttle and clutch cable is made to the appropriate length for each application, which includes an extended range of dirtbike models.

ProX also has a lightweight, narrow X-Ring chain that utilizes a QZ-type seal for off-road, enduro, ATV and big-bore 4-stroke motocross bikes. The chain has 40 percent less friction for markedly improved durability over a standard motocross chain. All ProX chains are pre-stressed and pre-stretched and come with a clip type chain link as standard. ■

Premium ProX Roller Chains are made using high-grade steel. The pins are treated so that their extremely hard outside coating offers durability, while the softer inside reduces chain wear. The solid bushings are heat treated for excellent tensile strength combined with low friction

X-Ring type chain uses a special QX-type seal offering 40% less friction and at least 150% increased durability over a standard MX chain.
Brushes are solid type and heat treated for exra strength and reduced wear.
Solid type rollers are shot-peened and hardened for superior durability. Inner plates are designed in a specific shape allowing less material to be used, which in combination with the unique lightning holes results in 3% lighter chain without compromising tensile strenght.
Chain links are heavy press fitted and do feature quad staked riveting for ultra strong connection.
Outer plates are heat treated to offer incredible tensile strenght and high wear resistance.
Pins do feature an eclusive pin treatment providing an extremely hard Chormium Carbide surface coating on the outside, leaving a softer inside to increase strenght while reducing overall chain wear. The coating offers superior protection against impact and reduces oxidation by natural elements to a minimum. GENUINE
