Above, our gracious hosts for the Meet-n-Greet evening, Peter and Linda Christensen, opened their home in Greenwich, CT, for Adopt a Sister friends and newcomers. How can we ever thank you both?

Left, Michael Guarnieri of Stamford, CT, who is also chairman of the Partners Circle Board, and Sr. Esther Cruz have kept in contact via correspondence, but met in person for the first time at this wonderful Greenwich event.

bout a month ago, I wrote to you and asked for prayers for my sister, Rita, who was diagnosed with cancer. I wanted to thank you and the Sisters for your prayers. The surgery was successful and the cancer did not spread. This was really a miracle because the preliminary tests showed an advanced stage. Rita was truly in God’s hands. Please continue to keep her in your prayers because she still has to undergo radiation therapy. Enclosed is an offering to help care for the Sisters. Philadelphia, PA

great feeling! Always keep me in your prayers. You are forever in mine. Nothing has changed since our very first correspondence. Sisters, I’m old enough to be your grandma so I consider you my grandchild. That makes “four,” all with great careers. My son is in the medical field. His wife, who converted to our religion, has the brains for all four of us. That’s my family. My husband passed away 12 years ago. I believe he is a Saint! It was so sad. I so enjoy your magazine, “Partners In Giving.” I thank you for caring. The feelings are mutual. Fair Lawn, NJ
