MOTIONS By the Honourable Attorney General, Minister for Justice and Leader of Government Business:

1. BE IT RESOLVED that the Parliament do authorised the Attorney General to make an Order to declare that the 2006 Supplement to the Revised Edition of the Laws of Saint Lucia including the Civil Code of Saint Lucia, as specified in the Order shall come into force on such date as may be appointed by such Order as an authoritative version of the law. 2.

BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Assembly and the Senate hereby authorise the Minister for Finance to borrow an amount equivalent to two million five hundred thousand Kuwaiti Dinars from the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development for the purpose of assisting in the financing of the Feeder and Agricultural Roads Project.

3. BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Assembly and the Senate hereby authorize the Minster for Finance to borrow an amount of Special Drawing Rights 6.89 million or US$10.7million from the International Monetary Fund under its Exogenous Shock Facility to assist in mitigating the adverse impact of the global economic and financial crisis. 4. BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Assembly and the Senate hereby authorize the Minster for Finance to borrow an amount not exceeding the equivalent of five hundred and sixty-two thousand five hundred United States dollars (USD562, 500) from the Special Funds Resources of the Caribbean Development Bank for the purpose of assisting in the financing of the Caribbean Catastrophe Risk Insurance Facility.
