A magnificent tricolored cultivar with thick, slug-resistant foliage even from a young age, this slow grower spreads majestically in border or container. In spring, the cupped, nearly round foliage emerges pale yellow with blue edges and darts of light green. As spring turns to summer, the center of each leaf turns pure white, while the edges sport a blue-green blend. Heavily puckered and very substantial, the foliage withstands rough conditions beautifully. Bell-shaped light lavender blooms are held high above the foliage on 24-inch scapes. Introduced by Eleanor Lachman. 1-quart container.

Hosta 'Dancing Queen' The standout in any Hosta display, this elegant cultivar emerges in spring with bright yellow leaves that keep their color until midsummer, when they become a paler shade of primrose beneath lavender blooms on 28-inch scapes. Lovely pie crust edges ripple each leaf, and prominent "quilting" begins at a young age. Spectacular! 1-quart container. Z 3-9 | mid-/late summer | part/full shade | H: 18", W: 30"

Hosta 'Touch of Class' PP#13,080. Magnificently thick-leaved, this tricolored specimen keeps its cool blue tones right through summer heat. Its leaves are substantial, waxy, and nicely held, holding up to spring rains, summer heat, and autumn breezes. Part of this Hosta’s vigor and strength comes from the fact that it’s a tetraploid, boasting twice the chromosomes of most other Hosta cultivars. Slender 2-foot stems dangle 1-inch lavender-blue blooms above the foliage in summer, completing the ornamental appeal of this handsome perennial. 1-quart container.

Hosta 'Sum and Substance' Heavy, 2-foot yellow leaves gradually turn a rich gold, making a striking impression in the border or as a specimen. Fragrant lavender blooms on 38-inch scapes complete the ornamental appeal of this substantial, imposing shade lover. Quite slug- and snail-resistant, its garden value increases each year as its magnificent foliage grows increasingly substantial, textured, and interesting. A superb choice for specimen use or mass planting, it achieves best golden tones in morning sun and afternoon shade. A multiple award winner and popular favorite ever since its introduction. One of the late Paul Aden's finest introductions. 1-quart container. Z 3-9 | summer | part shade | H: 3', W: 5'
