Praise God that Tamra Nowicki has found a job. She started two weeks ago. Continue to pray that Joe will get his work visa soon. Pray for Connie Cartabio, who was recently in the hospital for treatment. Pray for her continued recovery, that the pain would dissipate, and that the Lord would give her peace. Pray that the Christmas Tea & Craft Sale will be successful so that we can sponsor more than one family for Christmas this year. Pray that we will be able to reach out to the less fortunate. Please continue to pray for the search team for the church planter and that God would lead Parkland to the right individual. Pray for Shannon’s Dad who has cancer. He is at peace with God. Please pray for peace & comfort for her & her family. Pray for Denny (Mikal Anderson’s Dad). Denny is on a new chemo and is responding very well. He's feeling much better, and gaining strength back. Such an answer to prayer. Please continue to pray for healing and comfort and peace for him and his family . Pray for Taylor Grace who is settling into her new home in Alberta. She needs transportation so that she can travel to church, which is 45minutes away. She also wants to meet some new friends to spend quality time with. Prayer Chain & Prayer Team: Shannon Escaravage (604-534-5852) The Nominating Committee is recommending the following members for the Leadership Team for a two year term: James Gu, Brian Rapske, Doug Friesen and Shannon Escaravage. When you come to church, you don’t need to be experienced in the game of church. As a matter of fact, we try hard to ensure that nobody feels engaged in any kind of religious game. At Parkland, you don’t have to dress up in a particular uniform. You don’t have to be a particular age. Most of all, you don't have to feel the need to pretend to be anything other than who you really are. Just come as you are, pick up a cup of coffee or tea, and relax! One thing is for sure—no experience is necessary. Leadership team Kent Anderson (kenta@twu.ca)
