•Please pray for the Chin people at Parkland Fellowship. 5 families are moving out of province because of job situations; that would leave only John Thang and his family and one other individual. This is sad news although completely understandable. Please pray for the Chin people and the future plans God has for them at Parkland Fellowship •We pray God's blessing on the marriage of Tamra Escaravage and Joseph Nowicki in Los Angeles Saturday, July 30. Tamra serves with YWAM in LA. The Missions Committee sent a special gift on behalf of Parkland •Pray for Cora Tonn serving at Esperanza on Vancouver Island (www.esperanza.ca) for one year and for the Parkland work team serving at Esperanza August 6-13. The Missions Committee approved $160/month in support for Cora. •Please pray for Laurie, who has been diagnosed with lung cancer and brain aneurisms. Please also pray for her husband Tom, her two children and her mother-in-law, Anita as they go through this difficult time as a family. •Darleen Taylor's father, John Blacklock, passed away recently. Please continue to pray for Darleen, her mother Margaret and the rest of the family at this time. •Praise God that the cancer treatments for Denny (Mikal Anderson’s Dad) are going well. Please continue to pray for Denny. Please also pray for Wendy (Mikal’s Mom) who is dealing with heart issues and is scheduled to have an angiogram next month. •Pray for Maxwell Peacock, Gaynor Sward's son, who is on a five week mission trip, June 30 August 8, to China teaching English Prayer Chain: Shannon Escaravage (604-534-5852) Prayer Team: (to request prayer in a small group setting) Deborah Mooers (deborahmooers@shaw.ca) East Africa Famine Emergency HOPE International Development Agency has been providing emergency relief supplies such as food and medicine in the areas where we work for more than a year. However, it is obvious that much more needs to be done. Your financial support is needed to ensure that we help as many people as possible. Your gift of $25, $50, $100, or whatever you would like to give will ensure that someone…a desperate mother, a sick child, a father in despair, an entire family…will live through this crisis. Go to www.hope-international.com to donate.

When you come to church, you don’t need to be experienced in the game of church. As a matter of fact, we try hard to ensure that nobody feels engaged in any kind of religious game. At Parkland, you don’t have to dress up in a particular uniform. You don’t have to be a particular age. Most of all, you don't have to feel the need to pretend to be anything other than who you really are. Just come as you are, pick up a cup of coffee or tea, and relax! One thing is for sure—no experience is necessary. Leadership team Kent Anderson (kenta@twu.ca)
