BUSINESS STANDARD SBI Mutual Fund: Amundi pick up stakes in CG Consumer block deal About 51 million offers traded hands on Tuesday in the square arrangement


COMPANIES NEWS: SBI Mutual Fund and Amundi have gotten key stakes in the Rs 1,275-crore square arrangement executed by private value (PE) players Advent and Temasek on Tuesday in Crompton Greaves (CG) Consumer. While SBI Mutual Fund gained a 4.8 percent stake for Rs 750 crore, Amundi India got 1.44 percent for Rs 225 crore. Appearance International's Amalfiaco and Temasek's MacRitchie Investments, both advertiser substances, offloaded 5.15 percent and 3.01 percent individually of their stakes in the firm. For the quarter finished September 30, Amalfiaco and MacRitchie held 22.33 percent and 12.03 percent in CG Consumer, prior piece of the Gautam Thapar-drove Avantha gathering. In April 2015, Avantha Group had consented to sell its whole holding of 34.36 percent in the demerged shopper items business of Crompton Greaves to private value players Advent and Temasek for Rs 2,000 crore. CG Consumer makes customer strong and electrical items including fans, apparatuses, and luminaires.
