University of California, San Diego, the latest book in the Campus Guide series, presents the story of UCSD--its growth, planning, and architecture--as a colorful journey from the Sputnik era through the social and political transitions of the sixties, exciting scientific breakthroughs during the seventies, and new emerging modes of interdisciplinary collaboration.
